I’ve been using this gel/ soap in the shower for about 2 years now. As a perimenopausal woman, I have definitely noticed an increase in sweating, even during sleep. This potentially increases redness & irritation under my breasts, under my arms, as well as in the groin area. I understand the need to keep these areas dry to prevent infections & painful irritations. I read how peppermint oil, tea tree oil, and aloe, work together, in a soap or gel wash, to treat & prevent skin irritations & itching. I found the perfect product in this shower gel. It contains all three of those oils, as well as other healing oils/ extracts. I use this gel in the areas that I mentioned, but use a shower gel or moisturizing soap for the rest of my body. I don’t want to go through this product too quickly, and I like the scents of my other soaps. This does not smell bad at all, and once the shower is done, the scent quickly dissipates. It is a strong scent, mostly due to the peppermint & tea tree oils. I just prefer other scents, that I can layer with a body lotion or moisturizer. When I use this faithfully, I don’t have a problem in the areas that I previously described. It is a wonderful product & I keep it stocked. I’ve begun using it on my mom, who is very elderly, and can’t get around as she used to. When she has bladder leakages, I’ll help clean her with this product, and she stays clean and dry, with no irritation. She says that it is also cooling, which helps her to feel refreshed. I will continue to purchase this product. Oh… and you only need to use a small amount at a time, as it is very rich.

I got this because I needed a nice anti bacterial soap and this one came highly reviewed and praised. I can not totally see why as it is really great especially for a bigger guy such as myself. The good: Nice fresh clean smell and feel. I didn't really get that menthol-like feel which is fine because I was actually worried about it being over powering, but it actually was fine. I've heard some people say it has a good mint feeling but I didn't honestly get that too much (again for me, that's a plus). It has a nice smell of mint without being an over powering type of mint. It's very subtle in it's smell afterwards but it helps stop odors for sure especially for bigger people who have more odor areas and issues like that. This will help with those areas and keep you smelling fresh. It also helps areas if you get a blood boil or raised bumps that could become infected. This stuff is antibacterial so it will help those problem areas stay safe and out of infection territory which isn't a place anyone wants to be. Lastly, this stuff is packed in a small bottle but a little bit really does go a long way. Start out with a little bit on your hand and lather. You'll get a decent amount of showers out of it before you have to replace. Wish it was a bigger bottle but glad it lasts! The bad: I don't know if it's because I seem to have the most sensitive skin ever or what (or maybe it's just how the soap is supposed to be), It would really take some of the moisture out of the skin which is weird with how much oils are in the product. It could have been simply it was taking some of the bad moisture out (because bigger people have that issue) and perhaps that's what was happening. Not really a big deal, just something I noticed. Didn't cause any issues. The only other issue I had was that you are really getting a tiny bottle for the price compared to my other soaps. This is definitely one of the more expensive soaps I use which is alright, but I wish the price was a little bit lower. Thankfully a little bit goes a long way with this stuff! Overall this product is an ally especially for bigger people with some skin issues. It's not overpowering like some mint products I have seen on the market. I just would have liked to see a more consumer friendly price but I assume inflation didn't help. Either way, hands down I'll buy it again when I run out. Seriously a great soap for the bigger people!

It is very good soap. Does not lather alot. It is still a great wash.

I have psoriasis, eczema and keratosis pilaris. The Truremedy body washes truly help soothe and moisturize my skin during flare ups and calm the itch as well. Due to health issues I take many medications and many of them affect body odor so I range from smelling like a chemical lab to must. I wash twice during one shower with the truremedy soap and all the odors are gone for about 24 hours, unless I work up a heavy sweat or am sick, but I would shower a second time when those occur no matter what wash I'm using. I only need about a half dollar size amount of soap per scrub as it lathers very quickly and the lather is thick and lasting. Though the tea tree does smell strong at times, it doesn't linger on your skin leaving you smelling like it, but rather just fresh and clean. Each bottle lasts me about 2.5 months which is worth it for me.

This soap works wonders on dry , itchy skin. Skin feels better after only two applications. Highly recommend this product.

Smells great, refreshing but the smell doesn't last

Turning 50 brought changes to my skin, most of which weren't good. I was having issues with getting dry, itchy patches that wouldn't go away. I switched detergents and lotions, got prescriptions both oral and topical. Nothing was helping, not even my usual homeopathic topical's I ordinarily used. I got to researching and reading reviews and came upon this product. Truremedy has truly been a Godsend for me! I have a subscription and shout-out it's glory to anyone I hear bring up a skin issue! I was dealing with a patch of red, bumpy, itchy and at times painful skin under my breast for about 9 mos.. tried everything including prescriptions. Some things would temporarily help but it kept returning. Started using this making sure to leave it on to work prior to rinsing, and within 3 days I had drastic improvement that lead to overall healing. That patch hasn't come back and any lump, bump or itch I get this stuff takes care of it! I turned my Daughter on to it, she's had great results using it to provide much needed relief from HS abcesses. You also rinse feeling cleaner than with traditional cleansers, always a plus! It is also very hydrating, the most hydrating body wash I've ever used! I can actually skip after shower lotion in warmer weather, that's how moisturizing this leaves you! It is very important to shake vigorously before each use as it does seperate. Absolutely love this product and hope it's always available!
