I emailed to gather information about particular scan tool capabilities overall and with my specific vehicles. I needed certain reset/relearn capabilities so asked before buying. The seller was VERY prompt in replying and provided complete and accurate information. I could not be happier with the experience. As for the tool, it is also wonderful. It does everything a full service garage would need and far more than a DIY would require. It displays the mode $06 live data including things like misfire counts etc where other tools do not. This is actually more capable and has more features than I need. It does support all the special functions that I need so I cannot go with a lesser unit. Although this is a lot of money, it is actually cheaper than other models I have seen. The initial software updates take a long time, many hours. There does seem to be a delay between the time when you register the tool and the time that updates are possible. It all works well, just note that there may be a small initial delay. Once it started, it was flawless.
