Sevigny's Thin Ribbon Candy - Made in USA. 9 Oz. Box, (2 Pack)

Christmas is surely a time for being with family and friends, baking cookies, drinking egg nog, and remembering and reliving holiday traditions. This ribbon candy brings back many fond memories of Xmas past. The candy is sweet without being too sweet, similar maybe to other traditional hard candies, but with a wonderful ribbon shape that looks so festive in a small holiday bowl or dish. It just calls out to you to break off a piece to nibble on, then another and another and another! LOL I do recommend this candy for those who want to be nostalgic or for those who want to start a "new" holiday tradition in their house.

I have had ribbon candy before in my life and it is good. I ordered two boxes one for my family and one as a gift I open the box and broke a piece off and gave a piece to my child we both hated it it was absolutely horrible it was so chewy we couldn't even finish chewing had to spit it out. Now it says you can't return this item! Buyer beware whoever is sending this out- this is like 30 or more years old it is absolutely horrible it's like as if you had a candy cane and kept it for 40 years then open it up and try to eat it and it is just done! This should be thrown out how dare this company send out this s*** to people on Christmas so pathetic and sad shame on them!

This is the best candy! Came quickly and was just as I remembered it back when I was little

The candy is pretty. It starts out feeling like a hard candy but quickly goes to a very sticky feel. We were able to kind of suck on it into a ball and eat it by sucking on it so it didn’t get terribly stuck in the teeth. Lots of different flavors, all of which were yummy. I saved a box to give as a gift. It had some breaking but that’s to be expected. It was still pretty enough to open.

Gave these to my grandkids, They were all broken in pieces, not happy. Will not buy again. The kids liked the taste but all broken

I read that Sevigny’s was recently acquired by the Quality Candy Company in 2019 in order to keep the brand alive and thriving! It may be alive but not the same - The ribbon candy is thicker then I remember – It is no longer the delicate Ribbon Candy I loved and looked forward to at Christmas – For the past few years I did not go out for it or find it in the stores and this year I ordered it through Amazon - How disappointing - Another cherished item bit the dust and they are no longer made in America but Mexico – A note to Quality Candy Company – get some better quality control if the ribbon candy is supposed to be delicate or go back to the way Sevigny’s made it, thin and delicate. Thank you.

When I was growing up, my grandparents would buy this candy every Christmas. Even though my grandparents have long passed, I still buy this every year, and my children(&grand) love it! It has become tradition now. What a disappointment it was when it came to my house, it was all broken. The boxes were crushed and broken! Really disappointed.

It came all broken and some of the colors weren't even full!!! What a shame that this company didn't even take the time to package it so it stayed safe and tight from breakage. Very cheap packaging. At least make all the trays full!!! The taste is ok but it is not as good as See's Candies.

Beautifully packaged and the box comes with a warning that the ribbon candy may be broken, because it's so fragile. It's not as thin as I remembered it being, but it's very tasty. Each one is a different flavour and I love it. Thank you for selling it on Amazon! Tis the season for it. Updated. 2025. Bought this again. This time, it looks like it's broken even before it was delivered, because of how the candy is stuck together. It's not as fresh as it was last year. I think it's definitely something that is bought once a year and I don't highly recommend it. It's something that you can decide if you want to try it out and not use it as a gift.

Le goût est excellent, comme dans mon enfance. Je suis très déçue de la présentation.

gifts Christmas

Do NOT order this. $56. for two boxes of broken and sticky candy. Also NOT thin. I was telling my children and grandchildren that one of the things I liked about going to my grandparents place at Christmas is that they always had a box of ribbon candy. They had no idea what that was. So I thought I would order some for Christmas this year…… I will NOT share this with them, it’s nothing like the thin crunchy wonderful ribbon candy I had as a child.

They arrived all brock but they are taste good
