Perfect for shorter hair. I use for my son who is 10 and likes for his hair to flip up. It works well at curling the ends up. It is a little hard with stiff bristles but for what we use it for that isn't a issue. It seems to be of good quality and like it will last.

If you aren’t careful, it WILL get stuck and rip out your hair (I lost a clump the size of a baseball on my first use!) You can’t roll it up like a curling iron. I use it to add a little volume to my roots while doing a round brush blowout at home— just lift the hair, drape it over the brush against the scalp, and hold the blow dryer near the brush until the hair is dry. If it gets stuck, you can use the metal end of a rat tail comb to unstick it (check on YouTube for a tutorial). Overall very affordable and works well for the price.

Conair Metal Round brush. Only $4.00. My hair is very very fine, also I am 75 yers old with not much hair. I tried this bruise to make a curl while growing out my hair, and I somehow got the brush stuck in my hair. I worked on it to get the brush out of my hair, Finally did. This brush and my fine thin hair did not work well together . Other then that I may have to fine something different . Amazon was super understanding about me returning it. They said keep it, no need to return the brush at all, and they gave me a full refund.

Great size! My hair is medium length (collar bone length) and it’s PERFECT for shorter hair like mine! I love it.

Terrible brush….really does cause bad tangles even on short hair!! I read the other reviews saying that this brush gets very tangled up in hair; I figured maybe they were trying to use the small brush on long hair. I needed a smaller brush just to shape my bangs and figured this brush should be fine for this. I tried out the brush today using a blow dryer, and though my bangs are only two inches long, not thick or heavy, the brush stuck to my hair and immediately got tangled up…I had to remove it very carefully. I can’t imagine how bad this would tangle up longer hair. It has a bunch of plastic flexible bristles that grab onto hair strong, the way a burr grabs onto clothing. It was very inexpensive so I won’t bother returning, but strongly recommend not buying this brush. I’ve had other Conair brushes over the years that were fine, but this one is terrible. Not sure why it’s still being sold with all the terrible reviews.

I love these Conair metal round hairbrushes. I have used them for decades. The metal works very well for blow drying. I have found this brush to be very sturdy and easy to use and clean. I like the bright colors. The price is always very reasonable. I have very fine hair and this brush works great for me.
