USB C Extension Cable, [183cm/6FT] USB Type-C 3.1 Male to Female Fast Charging,4K HD Video, Audio Transfer, Data Sync Extender Cord Compatible with MacBook Pro,Switch,Pixel 3/2/XL

I bought this cable to extend the lead on a USB hub to use with my Galaxy S20 Ultra and I've found that it supports everything I was aiming to use it for. It can carry the 45w (9v/5a) charging current of my phone's charger without issue. It can carry the USB 3.1 data from my hub while passing through the charging current. I was even able to stick it into my Switch dock and my Switch still thought it was docked from several feet away. I don't have anything to test Thunderbolt compatibility, but it most definitely supports all the other USB-C specs, Power Delivery 3.0, USB 3.1 gen 2, and even Samsung's weird 5A version of PD3.0. The construction of the cable itself is nice. Plenty of flex in the wire makes it comfortable to use with my phone. The mesh on the outside of the cable feels soft and nice, but I can imagine it fraying quite easily if used in a harsh environment. Connectors feel pretty solid, with a good grip on both ends of the cable. Overall, for a "cheap" cable, this hits all the marks and is excellent quality for the price. Absolutely recommended. As for the vendor, the package took a little while to ship, but wasn't a terrible wait considering delays due to the current pandemic.

I read a lot of reviews on here that say this product does not work to extend the Oculus Link Cable. I’m here to say that it DOES work. Maybe the other people reviewing this cable had a different setup or used the unofficial link (Partylink?) cable in conjunction with this one. I had many many issues with the Partylink cord with and without it’s included adapter. My setup is straightforward. I have this cable plugged directly into my 2080ti, then I have the official oculus link cable plugged into this cable and it all works flawlessly. I tested using the link to boot into steamVR and play Half Life Alyx at max settings. The headset charged while playing as well. I even used developer mode to increase resolution and pixel density which requires more bandwidth. Great purchase!

I got this for a new Huion Kamvas 13 (2020), and it WORKS. Meaning it FIT, and it delivered VIDEO. I tried many cables, and they were either too big for the recessed port in the Huion Kamvas 13 tablet, or the video didn't work. Tested against both ports of a Lenovo P52. FYI you have to have the correct USB-C cable AND port type: USB-C 3.1 Gen 2, or you will NOT get video. I believe your port also has to support DP Alt Mode. A Thunderbolt port can fall back to USB 3.1 Gen 2/DP Alt Mode ... I think ... please do your own research. Good, solid, sturdy cable, love that it has a 90-degree connector - great for the Kamvas tablet. Thebad news is that BOTH ends are 90-degree: so it's a pain to plug into my laptop, as the cable then either covers the 2nd USB-C port, or runs into another cable coming out. I would MUCH prefer one end to be straight, 1 to be 90 degree: then I can choose which I want where. And ONE QUARTER the price of the shorter Kamvas cable!

I know some people say this is only a charging cable. I was able to use it to copy data from my Samsung Tab S7+ 512GB to a Samsung Tab S8+ 512GB! The transfer of data (using Smart Switch) went like a bat out of hell for both my internal data and 512GB micro SD card. The new Tab S8+ has 512GB internally and 1TB microSD card. The Tab S7+ had 512GB internally and a 512GB microSD card. In total the Tab S7+ had 575GB of data to transfer (including music, videos, photos, doc, PDF, etc files). I also use this extender with the two docking stations my tablets and phone use for extra storage, Ethernet access, etc. Finally, I have the other two attached to the Samsung 45W charger I use for my tablets and phone. The only problem I found was keeping the extender cable and the cable of the docking station or charger from coming apart. Please see the photo I'm including to see my solution. I can highly recommend this cable for charging, data transfer, and docking!!

I bought this cable. The construction quality of this cable is great. It can work normally, and it does allow the keyboard and mouse to be used in the expansion. When the display data transmission speed is greatly increased, the connection frequency will be higher. I used to buy a 6-foot cable because the plug on my wall was in a weird place by my bed With the remaining wires, I'm not sure what I would do without it. To be honest, until I looked up, the quality of the wires was still very good, and it worked well.

I bought this to extend my thunderbolt 3 cord. It caused a myriad of problems from the get-go. I have a Hiearcool USB C Hub,USB-C Laptop Docking Station that I use to connect several items to my laptop.. I love the docking station except for the fact that it has an extremely short cord, which makes any kind of arrangement of cords and/or peripherals a logistical nightmare. I ordered this cord to help with said "nightmare".....This cord caused my WD portable HD to start making clicking noises and I also have a wifi adaptor attached to my laptop and it started losing connectivity to wifi almost immediately. I went into panic mode though, when I heard my WD hard drive start to click...I thought I had a catastrophic HD failure, and it WOULD NOT read the hard drive. With those two "symptoms" I started going into overdrive looking for my last backup. This entire ordeal lasted about 2 hours when I sat down to try to figure out what had happened. I thought about my other WD HD, and thought it might be the cord from the HD that had gone bad. I plugged it up, then miraculously the HD worked....then it hit me...CORD!!! WIFI loss!! HD loss!!! I unplugged the "thunderbolt 3" compatible cord, plugged my hub back up directly to my laptop....Et Voila! I'm back in business with both my portable HD and wifi signal! I'm sending this false advertising piece of junk back.

I bought two of these about 6 months ago as my desktop sits far away from my desk. I needed one to connect to a thunderbolt docking station, and the other as a spare. It was a long shot, as most cables over 6 feet can't support Audio, Video, and Data transfer (essentially thunderbolt) and I intended to connect this to another 3 foot cable. Low and behold, it worked. I have ethernet running through it, a monitor, and countless USB-A dongles in the docking station. One con is I quickly found that the orientation of the cable when plugged in mattered which was odd. If I had to plug and unplug the cable constantly it would be pretty annoying because neither side is marked as "up". Thankfully I don't, however, so it's a non-issue for me. Overall I'm very impressed with the cable. It successfully extends the length of thunderbolt cables beyond their recommended maximum length. Data speeds likely suffer, but I haven't noticed this enough to bother testing.

This is a great addition to any new Mac. It gives you the flexibility to be 6 feet away from any outfit while you are working. No longer am I attached to just my standard Apple cord. The cord is rigid, but quit flexible. It is appealing to the eye and easily user friendly. I love how easily it is to coil it and secure it with the velcro tie it comes with. It is a neat, tidy, and very pleasing to the eye accessory. A great asset to any Apple Mac used.
