It's always good to have more darts. Lol. The more darts, the more fun. It's really up to you. The mega darts are a little more expensive the regular ones.

I can't rate the raperstrike, but we had a lot of trouble with that particular nerf gun, right off the bat. All the other nerf products we've had have been pretty reliable.

how often does it jam

My 11 year old grandsons have had the gun jam a couple of times. My 18 year old grandson uses it and has no problem with it jamming. They love the guns.
