Worked great!
This was the least expensive one that I found. It was too big to fit the access hole on my golf cart so I use a hacksaw to easily cut it down to size. It worked great!

Professional Tool for Cleaning Slip Rings on Welder/Generator Armatures.
This stone is critical to reach & clean the slip rings on portables welder generators while the engine is running. The secondary benefit is the slip rings help re-seat the armature brushes as part of the cleaning process and helps the system produce the full power output. Only negative was the product did not include the holder for the stone and the packaging was only an envelope, so the stone was broken into two parts when it arrived. It was still usable but an inconvenience that could be prevented with bubble wrap added.

Was able to clean the armature on a couple of diesel powered pipe line welders.they were not working due to dirty and uneven wear.
