I really like these lights. It's brightened up my garden swing. They are small LEDs on a copper wire so you can wrap them around anything and it will stay sturdy. As the copper bends it can be a bit of a pain if you get a tangle so you need to really take your time. You have loads of different modes for the lights like flashing / fading / flickering etc which is a nice touch. They come on at night with the sensor and go off in the morning so once you've set them up you can leave them in place. Great value for money and nice and bright for the size of them. I would recommend.

These are ideal. I'm trying to brighten up the garden as it looks so empty and boring during winter. These really do the trick. They are very straight forward and very easy to put up and with them being wire they stay in place. The modes are really the best feature of these and look great and are quite subtle. The solar panel charged them up fine even though it was quite cloudy. I put these up under our gazebo but that kind of hides them - just as well you get two sets of lights in the box. Result. Nice lights and a great price for two lots.

Using these to light two garden wall features. They use thin coated wire with the led blobs along it. This works perfectly well (and is waterproof) but you have to be a little careful when setting them up. I don't imagine the wire will take too well to being bent over and over again. Having said that, it does bend easily and they are quite easy to get into position quickly. But I don't think you'd want them anywhere where the wind might be constantly bending the wire. The solar panels seem good and you'll get a few hours of light even after charging on an overcast day. After a sunny day they are running pretty much all night.

I bought these to put round the gazebo in our garden. I already have solar lights all round my garden and needed something easy to wind round and across the gazebo. I managed to tangle them up so it took longer than it should have to get them in place but that was more down to me than the lights. I got them up in very little time once I’d untangled them. They covered exactly as I wanted and although they look quite delicate at first glance , they are pretty sturdy. Once up they look great. You hardly notice them in the daylight but once they switch on when the night starts to fall they are bright and lovely. I keep mine on the static setting as I don’t like flashing lights but that feature works well if that’s what you like. In conclusion they are perfect for what I wanted, look pretty and work really well.

This is my second purchase of these lights. They are excellent value for money. They give off a warm light which looks lovely and they last all night! The copper wire is very fiddly and even though they are wound when they arrive, unwinding them to put them up is a bit frustrating because the wire winds into itself - so be prepared for a bit of frustration ha ha! That's the only reason I've given four stars for 'easy to install'. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with these lights, they are excellent value for money and do exactly what you expect... they are not 'bright white' so if that's what you're looking for then I'd say don't choose these.

These lights started well and were just as expected for summer 2023 and 2024. bright. Lots of different flashing functions and they stayed on for most of the night. During the winter I cover up the solar panel bases to protect them from the elements. This spring 2025, only 1 of the two sets of lights are working. I’ve unscrewed and taken a look inside and everything looks fine but still nothing. So in short, if all the solar string lights I’ve bought these have died the quickest. Still for a fiver each it’s not too bad and like with most things these days it’s Chinese tat poorly made and the luck of the draw if yours will last. Would I buy again, maybe if the price was low still.

These are super cheaply priced but surprisingly good quality. Similar options I've seen at B&Q are over 3x the price and are probably no better. With these there's 10m of coiled copper wire to unravel, so it takes a little while to set up, but once they're done they're long enough to have some really good coverage in our garden. They come with rechargeable batteries inside and charge through the day, even when it's not that sunny, but at night they light up and stay on throughout the evening with a good amount of light. Each LED is small so they obviously aren't super bright individually, but there are hundreds of them so they do light the place up very well. These were a very nice and very well priced purchase so I'm very happy.

I bought these to replace some solar lights in my garden that seemed to be ‘getting tired’. These are small lights on bare copper wire and give limited light even with ideal positioning of the solar unit in full sun etc. They’re also a NIGHTMARE to unwrap. A simple twist tie could have kept the roll of lights in place but instead they’re rolled in a way that creates about half an hours work to untangle them. As an ex angler I’m used to untangling fishing line but this was a nightmare. And it wasn’t just me : My wife and two sons in their late teens were similarly foxed by the stupid rolling. One set of the four I bought didn’t survive untangling. After all the needless frustrations to set them up they aren’t great in terms of look and a full charge on a very sunny day gives only limited lighting duration. In fact one old tired set I left in place shines brighter and lasts longer with its solar panel beside the new one. With Covid closures I couldn’t be bothered to queue in the post office to send them back plus the inconvenience of taking them down carefully rather than just cutting them down is too much hassle. Final verdict from me? I really like solar lights but I definitely wouldn’t buy these again! Definitely not!!
