bad choice
Don't buy, unless you want to listen ONLY on a vintage, dedicated CD player - uses some British copy-protection that precludes playing on a home music center DVD/CD player, or with Windows Media player, or Windows Media Center, or copying to a hard drive in a music library: i.e - useless.

A little more information would be nice.
Sorry, this is not an actual review, though I have given ***** stars based on my experience with other recordings by this group. Some of these pieces (specfically, the oratorios) seem to have been recorded more than once by The Sixteen, but with a different orchestra each time. Can someone who has this set tell me which orchestra was used for these recordings? Then I could look up each original album on Amazon and read the feedback specific for that piece.

Fantastic Collection!
I have this Handel Collection and love it. Contrary to the other review which described this Handel Collection as 'useless', mine works perfectly well on my new CD player, on Windows Media Player and on itunes. I highly recommend this collection for any music lover.
