Homax Group 8522 Pre Mixed Popcorn Ceiling Texture, 2.2-Liter

Works at least as well as the pre-mixed kind only there's a whole lot more of it and it costs less. Easy to mix too.

Good texture but needs to be thinned out with white paint for best results.

This stuff is awesome! I used it with a Homax Pneumatic popcorn sprayer and it saved me hours and hundreds of dollars to fix ceilings to sell my house. So easy to use. At 60 psi with a pancake air compressor it gave me a great acoustic ceiling patch!

I would have given this stuff 5 stars for how well it matches the existing popcorn but the bogus claims made by the manufacturer outweigh that. I got less than 10 square feet from this jug, and I was matching existing medium texture ceiling, nothing real heavy. The pics show everything I sprayed before I ran out of texture. I still need to buy more because it’s a little light in some areas

For older homes, this product is no longer available locally. This wasbthevfastest and most cost effective to repair the ceiling.

I had to add a little water to get it to flow into the gun. I would suggest this only for touch-ups and repairs. For a full job, get a regular hopper.
