Nerf N-Strike Elite Disruptor [Multicolour]

To set the stage for this review, our office team likes to break out into random NERF wars with no notice. I previously had a NERF Maverick, which was small enough to tote around the office so I could be prepared for battle at any time. I even modded it and it was pretty powerful. Reading reviews of the Disruptor, it sounded like I was going to get a lot more power than even the modified Maverick, and damn were they right. This thing is serious and yet just as compact as the Maverick. I miss the cylinder that drop out the side, but that's purely because it looked cool. There is no need for this on the Maverick - leading darts is super simple and can be done on 5 of the 6 chambers without rotating the cylinder. Not to toot my horn here, but I dominated the last NERF fight with the Disruptor. I could hit targets much farther away than anyone else could return fire, and with ridiculous accuracy. Bought this as a gift for my son and it still works just fine. Solid product, easy to use, and doesn’t hurt a lot of hit by it. Fun toy.

Superb quality

Bought 2, they are great, ours came in perfect working order, look exactly as described and pictured, no issues so far, and our other nerf darts fit in them. My 6 year old daughter picked them for her dad for his birthday, she has trouble pulling the priming mechanism by herself, but it's recommended for ages 8 and up so she has a couple years to build strength. The guns shoot hard, far, pretty darn straight, don't point at anyone's face, it could take and eye out within close range. The boxes actually did have a crazy off-putting smell which I saw people noting on other reviews, I feel like it's likely no frills cardboard made with recycled paper products, which is great. I think these nerf guns are a good deal, and worth a buy.
