Easy to install and remove
I needed a cargo barrier to keep my airedales from wanting to move forward in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I hope to also keep most of the dog hair from flying forward by installing a barrier with mesh instead of piping. Because the material fits so tightly, it takes a bit of understanding and working to stretch the material to install the metal framing, but this is so worth the 15 minute effort. The barrier installs with straps to the headrests and the cargo tie downs. It also appears to be easily installed behind the rear seats OR the front seats, in case I want the dogs to have twice the room. On the back seats there is very little gap between the upper corners to the vehicle, and no gap to the sides and the ceiling (using the 50 inch model). After the first install, which took about 5 minutes, installation and removal from my Jeep takes less than 2 minutes. This also keeps my dogs from drooling over or licking the tops of my leather seats. Price seems reasonable for the quality, design, and function, of this barrier.

Perfect!
After a friend was killed in a car accident, I began looking for ways to secure our dogs in the car. Her dog had ridden on the seat next to her for 15 years. He fell off and pinned her foot down on the accelerator. She struck a parked semi trailer at a high rate of speed. I bought halters but the dogs got tangled. Carriers took up all the room and left no space for our luggage. I tried a couple of smaller barriers but they jumped over them. Wire ones looked like they belonged in a police car. This one fits perfectly, blocks them from the front seat and is always in place without being intrusive. It went together in moments and the only issue I had was my own mistake of making the strap too complicated and clumsy. Just thread it from the bottom straight through and the teeth will hold it where you want it. Because the back seat is almost always down I just tucked it behind the seat and secured it to the headrests. Itโs not going anywhere and neither are the dogs.

Good product still have to test drive it
With no directions it was interesting putting it together. I found that if you start with the middle bar, then the bottom, and finally the top I could get it together. I have a 2015 Subaru Legacy and it fits very well. I installed it by myself so it took a bit longer that it would have with two people but it is very do-able with one. I can see out of my rearview mirror easily and I there is no obstruction from the side. I haven't taken the dogs for a ride yet so I will still reserve my review for a later time. For the most part my dogs have been trained to sit in the back seat, but my German Shepherd likes to put her front paws on the middle console to look out the front window, I am hoping this alleviates this problem. Update: I have loaded the car with all the dogs and it passed with flying colors!! My German Shepherd was not happy because she could no longer put her paws on the console but I was thrilled. Highly recommended

Love! Fits 2019 Chevy Blazer RS perfectly!
We absolutely love this barrier! It fits perfectly in our 2019 Chevy Blazer RS. We thought it was going to be too big when we started to install it, but it was actually just a perfect fit! It does not rub on any of the interior, it does not rattle, you can see through it perfectly. We did not have a place to hook the bottom straps in our vehicle, so we only used the straps for the headrest and it is sturdy enough for us that way. We have an Alaskan malamute and a Jack Russell terrier, and the barrier works great for us. Definitely much better than having awful metal cages across the back! Plus, this one keeps the drool from the malamute off of the back seats where the metal grate ones do not.

Not Only For Pets Works Great For Work Too
Item is GREAT and just what I always wanted. I wanted something like this for years. I do not have a dog; I have a pickup truck and before had a SVU. I sell items for a living, and when I fill the backseat with merchandise, it can fly forward into me when I'm driving. I thought of the metal barriers that they have in cargo vans and wanted something similar for my SUV. I found out about this item in a forum about restraining dogs and thought this might be the item for me. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, and customer support was outstanding with my questions. Now I feel safer when transporting merchandise and do not have to worry about things flying into me.

Fits 2025 Hyundai Sante Fe hybrid calligraphy
Purchased the 50โ size for my 2025 Hyundai Sante Fe hybrid, calligraphy model. I secured it to the two captains chairs, with the third row folded down. The top straps secure to the metal part of the headrests, the bottom straps around the seats, low on the seat. It fits perfectly and looks pleasant, not harsh, and doesnโt rattle! The 50โ fits perfectly with just enough room on either side and top. The 56โ would be too big for this car. Quality mesh material and lightweight, but sturdy (titanium?) rods feel like they will hold up well. Glad to have the dogs quarantined off the leather seats. I searched for a lot of solutions for this car/trim combo and am very happy with it! Hoping this review helps!

Fits like a charm
I just got this yesterday and installed it today. - Initial Impressions - It seems very well made. Putting it together was no trouble. I have a pilot and it's practically a perfect fit - very little space on the sides, definitely not big enough for my boxer. The visibility as a driver seems great - you can barely notice it there. I haven't actually tried my dog in there yet. He's been used to riding in the middle so this might be an adjustment. - Notes - I looked at A LOT of options before picking this one. It was one of the most expensive but with what you get for fit and quality, I think it's worth it. I don't plan to keep this up unless I'm using it. It seems like it won't be too much of a hassle to put in and take out. If there was anything I'd suggest to the manufacturer, it would be making the system easier to fold down. You're supposed to tighten the screws to lock it in place but I think I'm going to try not doing that so I can fold it easier without tools. It would be awesome if it had locking hinges or something along those lines so you could easily store it. An even better idea - it would be amazing if you could fold the top half down when you don't need it. Then you could leave it in place and still pass things from the front to the back.

Strong, Sturdy. . .But. .
Installation is a bit of work. Product comes to you folded up and (1) one sheet of basic instructions with pictures. Not really enough detail. Basically it works on the same concept as the poles on a small tent or sun shade. Each pole intersects (slides) into the other. One right side, one left side and one center. Seems easy enough - NOT! The poles are measured and cut to slide into each other, with very little "forgiveness". So if you don't sequence them correctly - you'll get stuck - one side or the other won't fit. Some tips for future purchasers: 1) Install the CENTER poles first. Instructions do not mention this - found this is the best way to get all the poles to intersect correctly. I think one other reviewer mentioned this and he is 100% correct. 2) Instructions say to loosen the velcro holding the poles in place. Yes, that is correct. But be ready - once you have all the poles inserted - you have to really yank on the velcro to bring it back together. The manufacture uses strong velcro (which is nice), so once you do get the two parts back together - it will hold. Again, just be ready to yank hard on them. 3) We did not notice when ordering - but if you look at the picture - you will see the retaining screws are facing toward the backseat or cargo area. In other words - toward the dog(s). We were a bit concerned with this - just a fluke thing could happen - dog catches collar, pokes an eye, etc. So before installing in the car (SUV), we made sure all the retaining screws are turned down and inward toward the mesh. Makes tightening them a little more challenging - but this way, nothing is "presented" or facing the pet. 4) Once assembled and Installing the barrier in the car: installation will go far easier with two people. One holds in place while the other secures the straps. The hardware "clamps" to hold the straps in place are sturdy and tight - but you have to thread the straps into the clamps, hold the clamp in the open position and then pull the straps to tighten. Trying to do that and hold it up - difficult. We had to install two of these - so I wanted to do one solo. Found the easiest way if working alone - is to pre-thread the straps into the clamps with enough "play" to slide OVER the headrest and then tighten up. Overall - the product looks solid - is light, but sturdy. It looks like it will provide a safe barrier between (in our case) the backseat and the front passangers. We do secure our dog on a safety harness as well - one that is loose until the breaks are applied - so the problem there is that he has enough play in the seat belt to try and come up front. Hence, this barrier. Apologize for the long review - hope it is helpful.

keeps dogs out for good
have been through a few products to stop my dogs from coming up front in the car and all have failed, the dog always end up in the front pushing my electric e-brake lol. Put this product in 1 week ago and happy to say no sudden stops with the e-brake, holds in place well very sturdy and I own a x5 and a freak about not damaging it and this seems to fit snug and safe and if I don't bore you with anymore words the product held up

Very pleased with this dog barrier.
I'm very pleased with this dog barrier. It fits perfectly in my Nissan Pathfinder. It arrived earlier than originally quoted. It was very easy to put together and only took a matter of minutes to install in my vehicle. It's perfect for keeping my two dogs from climbing into the front two rows of seats. I would certainly recommend it.

Not chew-proof!
It took my dog less than 3 minutes to chew a hole through the "scratch and tear resistant pet screen". A waste of money.

Does the job. Design could be better.
My dog can squeeze her head through the sides. Wished this item could be adjusted to be wider by 1 or 2 inches to accommodate different vehicles. This dog barrier looks great, is easy to install, and can be removed easily, but a tad flimsy and not solidly mounted to the front seats.
