What size shaft ? 5/8" or 7/8" ?

Basically if you are planning on using sanding discs or cutting wheels you will need 7/8 arbor openings... it will have that dimension on the discs... if you are using wire brushes etc. then you will need 5/8 thread to attach to the grinder

I'm confused. I see some people saying to use 7/8wheels and some say 5/8.Which one is it?

Get 4 or 4 1/2 inch disks they fit. The shaft is 5/8 course thread the bigger disks are threaded and will screw right on.

Can this item cut through a metal bolt? If so, what blade is recommended? Thanks in advance.
