These Wisconsin Beef Snack Sticks are the best tasting beef sticks I’ve ever had. They are great for my keto diet for a quick snack to tide me over, because they are low carb. These were very fresh tasting and delicious. I eat one rolled up in a slice of baby Swiss cheese. I will definitely continue to purchase these.

I was seriously prepared not to like these because they weren't that expensive. LOL. When they arrived, I gave one to the 11 year old boy and he said they were really good. But I was like... he's 11... he likes most meat snacks. LOL. So I gave one to the 4 year old girl, and she liked them too! So I took the plunge and ate one, and the kids were right! They were really good. They weren't greasy and had good "snap" to them. I bought beef and turkey and started with the beef. I hope the turkey is just as good. I wonder if they have single serve ones. LOL.

I decided to give these another go after buying them often years ago. Although they are smaller than I recall, that wasn't the main issue for me. They taste a little fake, are a bit hard, and I don't think the scent is right. Even though there are plenty of little sticks within a plastic bag that can be sealed, the texture and smell were too much for me to handle. Since I don't like food to go to waste, I gave these to my dogs as training treats instead, and they appeared to adore them. They went wild performing tricks to receive their treats. Compared to the usual snacks I give them, this dog treat is far less expensive, and to be honest, I think they prefer it more.

These snack sticks are surprisingly good and an excellent value. The flavor is very reminiscent of Hickory Farms Beef Stick summer sausage (beefy, tangy, slightly salty and very satisfying). Two sticks = 1 serving size and it's only 1 gram of carbs for those on low-carb/keto diets. Definitely better quality ingredients in this product...make sure you refrigerate after opening! I've been utilizing Amazon Pantry more over the last 2 months and I make it a point to include a package of these in every order.
