will i be able to stream?

Yes, that works with any hard drive 2TB or less that I tried. Tried 320GB, 500GB, 1TB & 2TB. I just could not get it to work with 3TB or 4TB Hard Drives formatted GPT (GUID) for Windows 7.

confirmed, I use 3tb and does not work, why?

I am not 100% sure but I read some where that it's support up to 2 tb. I have one tb and 1 500 gb with an usb adaper with 2 extra slots for usb drives or more hard drives and works good but could be the 3 tb drive try a thumb drive or something smaller than the 3tb to see what happens good luck
