Bought for in home new propane construction. Love the value pack of 20. Threads on each end has no defects and fits easley with other black iron pipes. For less of a chance of leakage use the thick pipe dope, not the runny kind, has black paint already applied for corrosion.

TZH is an outstanding product. All pieces fit well together. Not to mention the outstanding packaging.

These couplers allow ease connecting black pipe plumbing pipe products sold on Amazon.

They seem to work okay, but you need to use plumbers tape or the will get loose while your working.

Good quality fittings. No issues with the threads.

I've been doing woodworking for a couple of years now and there is a saying that you can never have too many clamps. Clamps can also be expensive. Early on I decided to go with pipe clamps and just buy different lengths of pipe, which works well, but as with many things, as skill improves, so does size of projects. With the variety of pipe lengths I have, these connectors allow me to connect them together to create the size clamp I need for a given job.

I built a whole shelving unit using Brooklyn Pipe parts. I had no threading issues or fitting issues. The pipes are to size with strong threads. The support pipes are strong yet lighter than standard piping you would find at a box store. The backplates matched up with the threading of the pipes, along with all the other fittings. Everything was hand tightened, no need for a wrench. Using Brooklyn Pipes saved me a lot of money when doing this project. If I would have used a box store, I would have spent an extra $150 dollars. Great product, good price.

I can’t rate this product for its intended use. I did use it in a way that might help those with similar projects to mine—extending clamping capacity for larger glue-ups. These were used for Bessey ¾ pipe clamps on 5 ft Pipe Decor 3/4” Malleable Cast Iron Pipe because I needed a few inches more clamping length to make a bed. It is important to note that mortise and tenon joints do not require a great deal of clamping strength. You may need to use wooden spacers for the connectors since they are about 3/16” above the pipe (pic). The connector pipe threads were not cut as deep as expected for the tapered pipe threads (pic). Four clamps were used, 2 on top and bottom. Connectors were sent quickly and packaging was great.
