Keyboard Case for iPad mini 6 2021 360 Rotatable Backlit Keyboard for iPad mini 6th Generation 8.3 inch Thin Light

I love my iPad Mini 5 - great battery life, peppy performance, perfect for reading a book, watching a movie, etc. But.... typing? Truly a pain - unless you have a keyboard. Well, I had one for my iPad Mini 2, 4, and wore out the previous version and needed a new one. I have issues carrying heavy weights (bad shoulder) and love being able to take my iPad Mini into customer meetings / conferences and when traveling. It's the perfect size. Now this keyboard is my go-to one for use with the iPad. I was very concerned about compatibility and the vendor was prompt in reassuring me this keyboard is for both the '5 and the latest iOS. It works flawlessly. The keyboard travel is decent and allows good typing speed. The placement of characters that was problematic on my previous version is fixed. Delete is where you need it, and the illumination of the keys for dark conditions is really appreciated. The twist and flip functions are sturdy and give you a feeling of confidence. I waited to review until I had used it enough to know if it was durable, and I am happy. Also, it has enough magnetic strength for the screen to go dark automatically when closed. If you like using your iPad as a daily device, this is a great keyboard.

Overall the build on this case seems pretty sturdy. I've had trouble with the joint swivel thingy breaking on other similar versions I've had in the past and so far (been using for a couple weeks) it hasn't been a problem with this case. However, the big problem with this case is the inconsistent ability to type. Sometimes it'll work just fine, but other times the letters appearing on the screen lags far behind your actual typing, and it will start to put in random periods for no reason. It seems to work better if you type slower, but even then I still often get the same results. There are times where you literally cannot get what you're trying to type to appear correctly. If typing worked normally I'd easily rate this 5 stars and recommend to anyone, but as it stands this case is best used for general app using and web browsing with minimal actual typing. ----- UPDATE: Props to LENRICH for the exceptional and on point CS team! I rarely check the e-mail associated with this account and didn't even notice the multiple times they tried to contact me to resolve the issue until a replacement case arrived in the mail. It has been a few days, and so far so good! It is also worth noting, that while my original case does still have the typing issues (though you can sort of mitigate by flipping it off and then on again real quick) the swivel portion of the case (the fatal flaw in other similar models) has continued to be sturdy and has not had any problems. Anyway, updating to 5 stars!

What I wrote below was indeed my experience BUT Lenrich stuck to their word and honored the warranty. They sent me a replacement within two weeks. So far it is working fine. Thanks Lenrich. When I first received this keyboard in June 2019, I was very excited. I love the design and it was perfect for my brand new iPad mini 5th gen. For the first 3 months it worked like a charm. I don't use it daily, more like 2-3 times per week, but I could rely on the responsive keyboard and decent charge. Unfortunately, over the last month or two, it has gotten progressively frustrating to use. The keys respond slowly, it doesn't pair easily with my iPad, and it doesn't hold a charge. I thought the pairing issue was an iPad issue so I called Apple support. Through troubleshooting, we realized that the only accessory that fails to pair is the Lenrich keyboard!! It's super frustrating to try to type but can't because the keyboard needs to be charged, again, or it just won't pair. I am writing today because yesterday afternoon the keyboard was fully charged and I got it to pair with the iPad after numerous attempts. That was just a test to ensure that it might be ready to work when I needed it later in the day. Unfortunately, by evening the darn keyboard wasn't pairing, again. My last keyboard from another company lastest a couple of years. It has been 6months with Lenrich. Not acceptable, at all! Lenrich: your design is awesome, but functionality, not good. I hate to toss this sleek keyboard and case but it's useless if it doesn't work when I need it. What do you recommend?

I was skeptical at first because the pink from the reviews were a different shade of pink. But figured that was a previous version so decided to go ahead and order. So glad I did. This is beautiful and everything I wanted.

This is a fantastic slum, low profile, Bluetooth keyboard that is simple to use and far surpasses the on screen iPad keyboard! FYI; it is not a tough & rugged case, so I keep it in a padded tote made for iPad minis and am careful when transporting it, for the cost, this keyboard is well worth the money! Worked well for about 5 months then the top rows of the keyboard stopped wotking. It's past its return date so I'll have to buy another one, different brand. Other than that it has great functionality, with a keyboard that is easy to use and keypads feel like regular keypads. The screen turns and can be placed directly over the keyboard.

What I wanted originally was a small handheld keyboard like those phones in days gone by. This is a wonderful product. This is not that. But It turned my iPad mini into a mini laptop. It works well and it's lovely and I very happy with this purchase. It protects the mini. It comes to put it to sleep. It turns around so it makes a perfect stand or base for the mini. The keyboard lights are good, it works well with the mini. It's perfect. Wish I could find one for my kindle.

Received this iPad keyboard today for my iPad mini 5. It came faster than expected which was exciting! Overall, I think this keyboard is great. I have only had it for a day now but it was easy to pair with my iPad, came fast, easy to follow instructions and great quality. I love how I can use it like a mini laptop if I want to or use it as a stand when watching YouTube or any videos. Another great feature is that you have different color options for the keyboard backlight which I love. It is a little more expensive than other keyboard cases I saw but you get your moneys worth from it. Highly recommend!!

The flexible connection was very convenient, but it has started coming apart in less than 12 months. (See picture) The keyboard is workable but has an irregular layout of keys.
