Excellent product! Will buy more Anker products.
After my cheap auxiliary cable met an early and untimely demise I avoided getting a new one right away. Most places didn't have very good quality cables for a convenient price so I eventually went on Amazon and found this one. Having been using an Anker battery charger that has been wonderfully reliable and extremely useful for the past couple years I figure I'd trust the brand with a pretty cheap cable (or cord? Is it cord? I'm never sure of the difference) and my purchase ended up being an excellent one! Since I drive an old 2008 Hyundai that doesn't have Bluetooth this has been something of a God send letting me listen to my music from my iShuffle or my phone. The cable has a nice thick rubber coating that has a pliable softness that is pleasant to the touch. The metal ends have a little extra protection extended a little bit of extra rubber to help avoid the fraying that often happens when the rubber and attachment meet. (Am I describing this alright? I hope it's understandable). It's a very solid build and so far I haven't had any issues with it and it's survived the beating of being in my bag and car. My fiance is already buying more USB charging cables from Anker, and I plan to stay a regular buyer of their products which continue to be reliable and and of excellent quality at a great price.

The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on ...
For years and years, I have been using old Radio Shack cables to hook my phone to my car's AUX jack. The cables were always stiff, cheap-feeling, and the ends were wrapped in plastic that was so thick it wouldn't get past my phone case's headphone port cut-out. I looked for a reasonably-priced replacement for my wife and myself due to these issues and came upon these cables. I'm very impressed: Size of jack: The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on my phone case. This was a must. Feel of the cable: The cable itself is made of a supple, flexible material that easily bends yet resists tangling. It neatly drapes rather than jutting at odd angles. Fit and finish: Wow - the plugs themselves have a metal sheath that screams durability and the gold-plated plugs are a nice touch - I've often had to "erase" my other plugs to rub corrosion off and prevent static. These will likely prevent that for quite some time. Price: I honestly think these were cheaper than the cruddy Radio Shack cables I had and I bought those years ago. Add to that these shipped for free in two days via Prime and I'm extremely happy. Audio quality: Well, honestly I can't give you a great amount of detail here as it's hard to pinpoint audio details on a mid-range stereo in a car. There is just too much going on that interferes with nuances. I'm positive they at least meet the quality of my old cables and I have never had the issues companies like Monster claim you will get with thinner cables. I'll leave the in-depth audio reviews for someone with the right equipment. Yeah, I'm sure you can find cheaper cables if you look. No, I doubt you will find them all around as good as these or have them ship as fast. These suit my needs and exceed my expectations. Yet another Anker product I'm quite pleased to own.

Quality and Durable
Nice rubber insulation with Ultra Polished and Durable connectors. Have used about 9 months now for connecting my car audio to my phone so when I get in and out of my car I connect and disconnect. No glitches or noise with these, just solid connections. I don't treat these roughly but have been using them while driving Uber for passenger entertainment. Perfect sound every time and I used to be an Audio Repairman and I must say I am impressed with these from tip to tip and will purchase again if needed.

Second time around, much better.
*Update 9/2/15 Anker contacted me after my original review. They figured I had a defective cable. Didn't seem like it to me but whatever. They sent me another free of charge and I'm happy to report, it actually does fit better than the first. It still doesn't fit as good as the Skull Candy cable I had laying around for the application I originally wanted it for though. It still comes out of my desktop's front panel connector kinda easy but it fits pretty decently in my phone, headphone amp, and other stuff now. Since it still does fit better overall in various other things, I have a few applications it'll be good for now. Namely, my portable speaker or the speakers on my bed's headboard. It's fitment is now on par with some of the others I already had but where it wins is quality. It has a much nicer look and feel and just seems well made. Also, Anker's quick response and willingness to make things right was fantastic. I'm very impressed with them. They'll definitely be a brand I'll keep my eye out for in other products. Thanks a lot Anker! Original Review: The cable seems to be made well enough but has a slight problem. It works but the diameter of the connector seems to be slightly smaller than it's supposed to be. I bought it to replace the factory cable that came with my Philips SHP9500 headphones that was too long for where I was using them. The problem is, it slips into and out of the ports on the headphones and PC front panel connector (Corsair Obsidian 750D) too easily. The connector just slips right out with no effort. It's the only cable out of all my stuff that does that. The factory Philips cable, the cable on my Sennheiser HD439 headphones, the cable for my Soundblaster E1 headphone amp, all of them stay in just fine. And of course, I tried plugging it into other stuff as well just to be sure. It's too loose in my cell phone (OnePlus One), the previously mentioned headphone amp, headphone extension cord (for other applications), Wii U game pad, and a couple sets of computer speakers' headphone jacks. It did seem to fit ok in my Vita, 3DS, and laptop. I don't use the Philips headphones with them though. I instead have a pair of Sennheiser PX360 headphones for them, and its connector still fits better. Otherwise, it seems to be made somewhat well and it works as long as it stays in. I found the back up cable for a pair of Skullcandy Bluetooth headphones I don't wear anymore, and it fits perfectly so I'm just gonna use it. I might find another use for the Anker maybe where its looseness will be less of an issue.
