Car Audio DSP 2.8X Digital Crossover and Equalizer 8 Channel Full Digital Signal Audio Processor DSP with Sequencer Remote Relay

Good quality, well worth the money. Helped me enhance my PRV speakers even more. And being that I'm not a professional so I don't even think I have the adjustments correct to get the full potential of the speakers and they still sound great. So many wonderful features to play with. One of my favorites is being able to turn amps on in sequence. Functions very well, very easy to install, and like I said, I'm a non professional.

So I've been on the fence about one of these for a little while now. I wanted to do something with my system, but not anymore equipment upgrades. So I decided to make this purchase. I didn't want to spend six or $700 on a helix so I went with this. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but perfect for what I was looking for. At first I wasn't a full believer. Just couldn't seem to get the sub to sound much better than it did before. Well, after some patience and some tweaking, you can believe I'm a full believer now! WOW! It seems to me, and I know this doesn't really make much sense, but it almost seems like this needs some breaking in. It just seems to sound better all the time. I'm doing everything by myself and by ear. I'm not investing in mics and all that other stuff, just not that important to me. Been playing around with the time alignment and oh my God it sounds incredible. Still obviously in the tuning mode but this is proving to be very well worth the money paid. I'm running one Alpine dual voice coil sub at 1 ohm and I cannot believe I'm getting this sound out of one 12" sub. Any problems I'll be back with an update. Oh, and also, no engine noise. Update: 10 months later no probs. Upgraded some equipment and moved this to my glove box. Gets a bit warm in hot weather but no heat issues with unit. I just open the glove box for air circulation. I think I would like something better, but this works and I don't wanna spend so much time learning another one. It's $30 less than when I bought it so I highly recommend this if you're looking for something basic, effective, and affordable.

Ordered and installed needed a replacement because setting would not save and load automatically. Replacement arrived super fast and is working great. Definitely a game changer from traditional crossover setups with multiple amps! Fine tunes each channel to your liking

Great product, but does not have Bluetooth connectivity so it took longer to program

I’ll never install another system without one of these. Connecting everything was a breeze, by the time one gets this far into car audio, it’s relatively self explanatory. That’s the easy part! My ears are pretty sensitive to certain higher frequencies, but with the PRV 2.8X, I can tune those frequencies down to a comfortable level. Figuring out how to use and adjust the DSP was a matter of watching a few tutorials and playing in the settings. Very intuitive design! I used my iPhone with an RTA Application, while playing pink noise generated by the DSP (within the “Tools” menu section), which isn’t very “professional”, but displayed everything I needed to achieve what I would describe as fantastic audio fidelity! This device has changed the way I listen to music and allowed me to listen to new types of music I wouldn’t have otherwise listened to, as some songs demand a greater level of audio, which can only be achieved with a device such as this. I’m using the PRV 2.8X in the following configuration, utilizing 6 of the available 8 channels; 4 channel amplifier, running 4 full-range speakers mono-block amplifier running 2 subwoofers. It works great!

I enjoy the first one I ordered. It works well and sounds good. I decided to order a second. It showed up damaged. I returned it and the seller charged me a 20% restocking fee even though they sent a damaged product. It was damaged at their facility because the shipping box was fine and so was the product box. The connector strip for the remote signal input and outputs was shoved into the metal housing and the screws broken off. Probably won't buy another.

This makes a huge difference in clarity with all my speakers in my truck. The delay setup for driver listening is amazing, I’ve never heard music like that ever in my life! And I swear I am not getting anything out of this review as it sounds to good to be true… well I believe so!

I used this is a home audio setup with a clean 12V source and it is perfect for what I wanted. I have crossed over, tweeters, mids, mid-bass, and subs at levels and contours that are now almost seamless. Channel separation and imaging now are spot on.
