I should have read all the reviews. The photos in the ad look like the switch style on the right. What I received was the switch on the left. I didn't test the function, but it definitely feels cheaper and lighter than the original. Images around the dial aren't as clear as OEM. When you turn the switch it feels a little crunchy and not as refined as the original.

Just installed this on my 2012 mk6 jetta TDI Premium. Day 1 with it and it works. To install: push in on switch, move halfway to headlight, pull out. Now take off the bottom panel (pull) and from there take off the driver side dashboard panel. You can disengage the harness from the old switch from here. Feed the light sensor into the hole then connect the new switch to the harness through the hole. Push in new switch. Take the end of the light sensor wire and push it into the plastic dashboard gap where it meets the A pillar from the top. Sticky the sensor where it can see light. Test it. Tie up loose sensor cable with twist tie. Reinstall plastic panels. Good to go!

While it plugs and it works. After a few month every time you put car into reverse it would blow a fuse and the camera would be dead and the AC wouldn’t blow cold. And the unit would be so hot you can’t touch it. I wished it worked my other VWs/Audi have auto lights and I always forget to turn these on and off.

It was easy but the manual was horrible to understand but an a DIY on all my cars so I figured it out.

works great on 2011 vw jetta which uses the fat plug in cable.

I did not receive the product pictured, I received a product with a different chrome surround on the knob and it looks incredibly cheap.

Está padre por qué cuando abro en auto en el día no se prenden, pero cuando ya detecta que es de noche abro mi auto y se prenden automáticamente si lo recomiendo. (Mi auto es un jetta mk4)

Encaja bien, pero si no te gusta tener el testigo encendido en tu tablero, no te lo recomiendo para nada.

Queda con un poco de juego en mi Jetta Mk6 pero lo solucione poniéndole cinta adhesiva negra en la circunferencia y asi quedo ajustado, llego programado a que encienda en 5 segundos y si lo hace no he podido programarlo a los otros tiempos que dice en la descripción porque el instructivo esta en chino y las ilustraciones no son claras ojala que el vendedor diga los pasos exactos para poder hacerlo y subiré la calificación
