The Team Wendy EXFIL SAR Backcountry Helmet is the first purpose built Search and Rescue helmet to provide accessory mounting capabilities. The EXFIL SAR Backcountry was designed for users that do not intend on mounting night vision devices to their helmet. This version features a glass-reinforced polycarbonate shroud for mounting cameras and lights. It also includes a sport-style under the chin retention strap with Fidlock magnetic buckle and a Boa Closure System to dial in precise fit adjustment while providing single-handed quick release. The SAR Accessory Rail 2. 0 System is optional.

Quality helmet
Best helmet I’ve used. Tried DLP and Kong. Nothing compares to this helmet. Fit and construction are top notch. Have used the nvg mount more than I thought for rescue with either go pro for training or light mount for nighttime missions. Wish this helmet used an ARC rail though. Easier to find mounting solutions with ARC as you will be locked down to team Wendy products and when used with peltors you can’t use a rail with them

Great for Technical Rescue
Love this helmet. I named her Wendy. Used it for HazMat Tech, and often forgot it was there. Reliable, light, comfortable, adjustable, multipurpose, and professional. Purchased a go-pro mount separately and get amazing footage with it. Will be using it for swift water rescue so unless it fails during that, this is a must have for anyone looking to get into USAR.

Its lite enough you wont feel it at the end of the day. comfortable.
First tried one out at a sar event. Love it the moment I adjusted the tension knob. Received my today. Force multiplier for me on my Search and rescue team.

Outstanding
As expected a great helmet. If you have a very large head it may be too small, I think my head is at the very limit of a comfortable size as it fits with no extra padding.

Great product got it with rails. Fits great out of box.
I recieved this as a Christmas gift from my wife. Pros super great fit very comfortable. Can't wait to use on first SAR mission. Cons none found. Would and will recommend to anyone in the SAR community.
