This hammock and rain fly kept us dry in the high uintahs. Best nap of my life in the rain. Bonus: If you're taking a bunch of teens camping, they don't stay up all night being noisy if they're in their own hammocks. Make sure you know how to tie it up so that the threads don't rip. 10/10 would buy again. Pro tip: try it at home for naps before you go. Some people just don't sleep well in hammocks. I do. This one's great.

This hammock was awesome!I took a hiking trip out into the mountains, and this hammock kept mosquitoes off me and kept me very dry from the rain during the night.I hoisted my hammock over a river bed to really put the mosquito net through its paces. Naturally, there was an absolute downpour during the night, and this thing held up great!Overall, the Hammock came in a compact storage system and was perfect for a hike or a lazy day relaxing in the yard.Highly recommended. Comfortable, affordable, and quality!

Hammock was comafterable bug net is nice but the Rain fly is a bit small.was also pretty easy to set up took maybe 10 minutes

Seems to be of the same fine quality that I had fallen in love with from my first one I purchased about four years ago. I used that first one over a thousand times and it held up very well. Super simple setup and quick stow away design with durable moisture wicking material, make this a must have for keeping bugs at bay.The puzzler about this second purchase, when I picked up from the delivery location (Michael's) it required not just my photo ID but also that I was 21 or older.Not a problem for me but if you are 18, 19, or 20, I guess check with the seller before purchasing. Very odd.

Used this on a weekend camping trip and it held up great. Originally purchased for a survival kit, but may becomes frequently used item. Easy to set up, the mosquito net works, and the rain fly actually kept me dry through a light storm. Comfortable enough to sleep in all night. Solid setup for the price.

This thing was spectacular for 4 nights on the Appalachian Trail. My AirPad went flat and I was in the ground in my tent. I hiked back to the car and took this baby out and it saved my trip. No bigs, waaaaay more comfortable! I am a hammock camper because of this beaut! Get an under quilt if you are going out in cooler weather. I also upgraded the straps for a bit more length and more stout carabiners cuz I’m 6’3” 245. It’s a solid build though. I love it!

Great news: amazing that a fake backpacker like me could put this up in 10 min out of of the box (eagle rock loop - umpire, AR)Ok news: I would have given this a 5 star but the tarp is not big enough to cover the entire hammock. It started raining & rain got through. My recommendation is to get the option w/o the tarp & then buy a larger tarp separately.

This kit is a great way to test the waters on hammock camping. I have a few high end camping hammocks and I picked up a couple of these so my kids could give it a go without investing $300+/setup that may never get used again. Is it as good as my better ones? No, but at the price point I was throughly impressed with no regrets. The fact that this comes with everything you really need to go camp with it besides your insulation is good. The main con I found was with the tree straps. They do suck due to very little adjustments and you pretty much need to find trees the PERFECT diameter and distance apart to get a good hang. If you go into this expecting to have to put out an other $25cad for better straps it’s still a good deal for a very good entry level setup

good construction. held a 280lbs guy over the weekend. came with tree straps instead of rope, which is AAA, gotta protect them trees! the tarp is decent, may have to replace after a couple years but thats ok. only gripe i have is it didnt have loops on the bug mesh so you cant attach any cordage to lift the mesh from your face/body. you can jerry rig past that annoyance, but itd be nice to have the loops. other than that, a pretty good hammock for a value price

Only drawbacks so far: rainfly gets in the way when you want it to be open and comfortable just to sit i stead of lay. And a little but of wright to it but not too heavy, especially considering everything in the kit seems well made.5 stars, happy with this purchase- nice option to use as a tent alone or light enough to carry around if a normal tent is preferred for sleeping
