Mind Reader Vertical File Storage, Set of 2, Desktop Organizer, Workspace, Office, Metal Mesh, 6.25"L x 10"W x 12.5"H, Black

Bought these for my sons college dorm desk. It’s sturdy enough for his notebooks, binder, files and books. I like that it’s two instead of one big holder, fits on the desk better that way. There is no assembly.

I purchased these to store, support, and separate my collection of LP vinyl records on open shelves. They are perfect for this use. Unlike most "Magazine Holder" type units, (which typically have a lower front piece preventing contents from sliding out the front and requiring that you lift up and out to retrieve contents), these are wide open and unhindered in the front. They are therefore ideal if you wish to be able to slide contents in and out the front without having to lift up... such as my application of storing LP vinyl records. Also, unlike most similar units that are made of plastic which can crack easily, these are a somewhat flexible but still very supportive and stiff metal mesh, making them very durable. You could throw this metal mesh unit across the room, and it would not be damaged at all. They are also attractively made. My one recommendation however, is that you should remove the tiny "Mind Reader" metal branding tag clipped into the mesh side, because it has little edges that are sharp enough to scratch the contents you are storing. Fortunately, this is extremely easily to remove... just bend up the tiny retaining clip and it falls off and can be discarded.

Very happy with this item holds large books or at least 2-3inch binders (in one) came on time, packaged well just ordered another set.

I have bought these two times. I have my first set about five years ago and it looks the same as the one I bought last month. They are very sturdy as well as being strong enough to hold any type of book. I like that they are wide and open in the front so that any larger books can fit. Overall is a great choice and I know they will last for many years.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really like these Vertical File Storage Holders. They don't flare out at the bottom like most so they fit perfect side by side in my bookcase. They are also open front so things can be slid in and out easily without having to try to fit things over the top of the lip. I use mine for keeping my cookbooks and cake books upright in my bookcase, and I use some of them every day so it makes things so much simpler. My binders and some books were always falling over, especially if I pulled something out, but with the storage holders, my binders and books stay upright and I don't have to fight with them any longer. These are easy to use and much nicer with the straight up and down sides and open front. I went back and bought two more sets, and I would definitely purchase again. They are great and make things so much easier.

I needed a large magazine file to hold books on my homeschool cart. I got tired of books falling over after I pulled one or two out. Most magazine files are small and I couldn’t find one big enough until this. Each one is big enough to hold all of the books I need for each child, it’s very sturdy and doesn’t bend or fall over, and it fits perfectly on the cart. I wish I had these months ago.
