Excellent Harness for Our One Eyed Rescue Cat
Domestic Shorthair 11.6 lbs - we ordered the LARGE in purple We bought this harness for our one eyed rescue as part of preparing for a cross-country move. This was her very first introduction to any harness, so we introduced it slowly over six months. Now she confidently wears it with no issues. She has never been able to escape this style of harness during all her indoor practice sessions. We had also tried a soft harness that came highly recommended, but she always managed to slip an arm out of it, which was not an option for us. This one has been far more secure. The extra bit that hangs for leash attachment me just wrap around to prevent it from flying around. No harness or collar is ever 100 percent escape proof, and responsible supervision is always key. Our cat is an indoor-only girl, but with the upcoming travel it gives us extra control and peace of mind if she needs a break from her carrier. Compared to other options on the market, this one feels safer, more secure, and surprisingly comfortable for her. She truly seems to Lu bothered by it. For anyone preparing for travel or looking for a reliable harness, this has been the best choice for us. Like anything with cats, slow introduction and positive reinforcement goes a long way.

Finally, a harness my cat actually likes!
I’ve tried a few different harnesses for my cat, and this one is by far the best. The PetSafe Come with Me Kitty Harness fits comfortably and securely without feeling too tight, and the bungee-style leash is a great feature, it gives my cat a little freedom to explore while keeping her safe. It doesn't look as bulky as other harnesses, and nicely distributes the pulling force across my cat's body so the leash doesn't harm her. I got a cute blue color and It's super easy to put on and makes taking my cat on walks very hassle free. It doesn't pull at the neck like some other harnesses do and the overall quality feels great! If your looking for a comfortable, cat-friendly harness that will train your cat to walk alongside you, this leash is the one for you!

Excellent minimal design, not 100% escape-proof
I was looking for a well-made, sturdy, lightweight minimalist harness that wouldn't preoccupy the cats with getting it off of their bodies and this is filling the bill! I first saw this harness in Petsmart, but I'm very glad I decided to check Amazon first where they're available at a MUCH better price. There's a link to a YouTube training video in the included instructions (for a different type/brand of harness 😂) but the principles are applicable to any harness. It's easy to adjust...but, in my case, anyway, that's while it's OFF the cats! The fasteners are tiny and there are two of them, so I practiced with snapping and unsnapping it before the first try-on both to break in the fasteners and to ensure there was as little fumbling as possible when actually putting it on. With the distraction of the great outdoors, the guy who's already been outside a few times doesn't pay the harness or leash a bit of attention. Which thus far includes being unresponsive to the leash as a lead. I actually got these for the purpose of safely getting the cats outside for their entertainment, not necessarily walking them like dogs. But I can practice...and dream on! Speaking to the safety factor, it's well-designed and I couldn't see how a cat could escape from this harness if it's properly adjusted. And yet an escape did happen. I left my boy unattended for less than 60 seconds and he managed to free himself...I think because the lead was firmly fastened to a heavy table he was ably to use the resistance to wriggle out and I'm guessing if I had the straps that fasten with clips a little tighter he wouldn't have been able to pull that stunt. Either way...my fault for leaving him on his own for a few seconds. A velcro-fastened vest style harness might be easier to fasten (in theory) with less possibility of escape, but I can't imagine starting my little roommates out in anything with that much coverage, pressure and weight against their bodies or that makes the kind of sound that undoing velcro produces.

Works great.
Nice and light weight. Got a medium for my 10-pound cat, and it fit nicely with room for adjustment (+ or -)

Needs a clip on the neck strap to be good for cats.
Great harness but it really should have a clip to open around the neck. I have a very cooperative cat and he loves getting walked in this harness but he hates it going over his head. It's been a few weeks with twice daily walks and he still doesn't like it. I have to pretty much force it over his head. I'll wager for most cats this will be intolerable. It would be so easy to fix by just putting one more clip on the neck strap.

Bought a small size for 15 week old kitten, manage to adjust it pretty securely. I’m able to clip her mini tractive gps on the back and it’s comfortable enough that she runs, plays and sleeps in it. I’m still working on the leash training, though.

I've bought a harness for her before, but she hated it. It gave her a lot of stress. But as she loves to be outside so i wanted to give it another go. As she's got a lot of fur i wanted something that wasn't gonna be too warm. So this will also work for summers. This harness arrived 3 days ago! I put it on her very loosely the evening I got it and she wasn't too keen. But I distracted het with a few toys and she didn't even notice it anymore. The next day I let her outside in the garden with it and she just did her thing as she usually does. Today (day 3) I put the leash on and that is when it started annoying her and started yo bite the leash. But I held it up very lose and she started walking. She doesn't run off so I actually felt secure enough to open the gate and walked a bit outside the garden. Her little nose went in overdrive with all the smells. She has to learn to walk with a leash properly. And I eventually will get her a roller one. But for now, I am really happy with this harness. It is easy to put on and to adjust. I watched a YouTube video of someone putting the harness on their cat and I found that to be very helpful. I knew on forehand how to put it on her so it didn't take unnecessarily long as you're trying to figure it out a long the way. There's also manual included which I found helpful. It explains how it's safely secured on your kitten. The only issue I have with it, is the clip thingies are small which make it a bit difficult to open. And I think for larger breeds it may be too small. My kitten is 4,2kg. And she is wearing the large model. There is room to grow, but she is petit compared to her siblings. They may not fit this when they're fully grown. Which is also something to keep in consideration

Very successful for my 7 kg Maine Coon boy. Having tried at least five other cat harnesses and even a couple meant for dogs , this was a final purchase that amazingly worked. We only use it for run arounds and tree climbs in the park but it never slips off and is very easy to get on him. It manages to be very secure and strong enough for a very large kitty. Light and minimal strapping , not a straight-jacket like so many others. Note that we don’t use it for “ walking “ the cat, but it’s perfect for an indoor kitty who likes an outing and tree climb every now and then.

Aucun appel aucun message pour me prévenir.
