Dickies Men's Paolo Classic Chef Coat. Basic Long Sleeve with Pearl Buttons, White, Large

We were pleased with the chef's coats. We ordered four of different sizes. They were not identical; some had different buttons, but they essentially look the same. We have not washed them yet, but they look sharp and are a sized amply.

I purchased this for occasional home/recreational/church/scout use. I wanted something to wear while I am grilling and working in the kitchen because I like to make a mess. It is very well made and appears that it will hold up for a long time. Make sure you take a look at the fit chart - I am usually between a large and xl on most things, but it clearly showed I needed a large. It fits well and has plenty of "moving around" room.

Good coat, durable, but way too much sleeve/cuff. It fits me well, but the sleeves are pretty big even after two fold-overs. I have pretty long arms, too. Still a nice coat but I would look for a 3/4 sleeve next time maybe..... I am a professional chef, have several coats.

I have been in the industry for 10 years now and this is one of the comfiest coats I've owned. Nice and light but not too light. People have said it's a heavy coat and gets hot in the kitchen if they actually work in the industry then they should know 90+ degree work environments are the norm. Will definitely be ordering more of these coats. Highly recommended to any chef or line cook busting their hump day in and day out expressing themselves through the art we call food.

This was my husband's favorite Christmas present this year. I bought a white one from a different company to use a Halloween costume last year, and was amazed at how useful they are. We love cooking and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. My husband saw the merits of chef's jackets but was a bit shy of wearing one becasue he did not want to look like a poser. The answer was the black chef's jacket that does not scream Chef Wannabe the way the white ones do. It also shows fewer of the stains. These are so useful - full coverage. I chose this one because it was relatively light and had flat buttons rather than French knots. It is soft and very nice looking.

My husband was very pleased with the quality and fit of this jacket. He wears a large shirt and the large jacket fit just right. Looks very professional.

I purchased this jacket for a costume at Halloween time so I'm probably not the best "go to" for the Chef quality of it. It's thicker than most of the chef's coats I've worn (I used to work in the restaurant industry) so that was a plus. I found the sleeves to be a bit long. In the picture it shows them rolled once and sitting just above the model's wrists. Mine rolled once were right at the tops of my hands but the overall fit runs small - I ordered a large (I typically wear a medium) and it fit me perfectly.

Buyer beware!!! Do not buy unless you know for certain your size. Get a $3.00 refund from Pac distributor. Otherwise fine material and nice color blue.
