well made for the price
These boards are well made, for the price. All components secure with good solder joints. I'm using mine in conjunction with a 24 volt 5-amp power supply to run my DC track-powered garden railroad. Just added a reversing switch and some housings. So far works really well. Low heat and the motors in the trains seem to be happy with the PWM. So far, so good...

Not 6 Volt-Capable
This module is well-made. The vendor shipped immediately. However, the item's voltage range is shown in error. It says 6V-90V, but the module does not operate at 6 volts. It seems most people use 12 volts or more, so they may not know or care. Supplied with power from a bench power supply, the module did not start working until almost 12 volts. Please do not bother the vendor, as the problem seems to be a mislabel in China. Alibaba lists the same item with the same specs. It is all over, including other Amazon vendors.

test it first!!!
These controllers work very smoothly as LED dimmer controls, except they do not go all the way up to 100%. They're almost "overkill" for that use case. Using them to control a 12V DC LED string off of a 12V DC supply will mean that you probably cannot get a full brightness display from the LEDs.

The controller works well and was painless to install.
I am using this controller to adjust voltage level to a 24V gear motor that draws about 5 amps at full load and about 1 amp at minimum load. The load is cyclical, since the motor is driving a linear resistance through a crank arm and slide. The motor runs at about 120 RPM at full speed, so the load cycles between max and min at 4 Hz. The controller does not seem to have any problems with that.

Don't buy!
Neither control works. The input votage is the same as the output votage and cannot be adjusted, tried with 30 Volt input has 30 volt output. It cannot be adjusted. I will never purchase from this company again. Poor quality!!

Hi: Motor and source returns (-) must be isolated!
Five Stars! Be sure that motor and source returns are isolated from each other. If tied together as I did at first, The output will be always 100%. Great product!

Must be connected to load
I two packs of two because some of the reviews said they didn't work. I hooked up the first and measured the voltage while spinning the dial. The voltage stayed constant. I wired the second and third and fourth with the same result. I was very upset. I watched a few YouTube videos on it and it someone said that they don't work until you have the load connected. I was scared to try that because my load would blow up quickly with too much power. I tried it anyway and it worked great. I wonder if the people that said that didn't know? There should be instructions that say that.

Some important things to know before you use
I bought several for a project for my students. A few rules to use. Don't energize without a load on the outputs. Do not reverse polarity on input. If it fails, try to first replace the two 5 volt zener diodes. They are glass and red. If you connect well, the drivers are robust, and can handle a good deal of current. I even shorted the outputs by mistake, and still worked after. If you make a mistake let is bench rest for 20-30 min. It might come back. Check Zeners.
