Perfect upgrade replacement
Replaced a CA 1240 (same housing and voltage but previous was 4 AH). One dollar cheaper than a replacement 1240 and will hopefully last longer because of the larger capacity. Took about five minutes for the low battery warning light to turn off so if it doesn’t turn off upon installation, give it a little time.

Absolutely spot on
Works as expected. Battery arrived at just under 12v. Installed into my alarm panel, within 30 seconds cleared the low panel battery code. Fit and size match the old unit that was going bad. Also the same brand as the old, so I knew when I ordered the last part was no problem.

Easy Installation
Just like the me I replaced a few years ago, it was a piece of cake. I did learn to disregard the “BAT” warning (low battery) for a few hours post-installation, as it needs to charge up…might be a good idea to advise buyers of that.
