Fresh from Batman: Death of The Family and Suicide Squad , Harley Quinn returns to her first solo series in the New 52! The writing team of Jimmy Palmiotti ( All Star Western ) and Amanda Conner ( Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre ) unleashed Harley on an unsuspecting dc universe, as she encounters various heroes and villains ... and leaves no one unscathed in her wake! With art by Chad Hardin and a slew of comics' best artists including Darwyn Cooke, Sam Kieth, Tony S. Daniel, Paul Pope, Walter Simonson and Art Baltazar! Collects Harley Quinn #0-8. Review: Great start to a great series - Very funny, actually got some physical laughs out of me instead of the general amusement comedy comics normally get from me. It has humor of multiple types that cater to a widespread range of comedy tastes. If you like the wacky and the bizarre, the silly and the sexy, dark humor and light humor, I fully recommend the purchase of this book. And if just the contents of the humor and story arent enough to convince you, maybe the art will. While it does have a main artist throughout the series, nearly every, if not every comic, has a guest artist in some sort of dream sequence or other such nonsensical event. It is an enviroment where the artists are all allowed to just go crazy with their art, drawing what they want how they want, with Harley quinn breaking the fourth wall about the art in an amusing way on multiple occasions. There is also a noticable lack of artist shortcuts, such as tracing, copy and pasted objects or limbs, and minimal repeated frames. I give the art a 5/5 I give the comedy a 4.5/5 I give the story a 4/5 100% a definite buy for any collection, worth every penny. Review: ❤️👏 Harley Love - This series is amazing and it came pretty quickly too. The book is great and expands on Harley’s personal pleasure life. A great read and for the fans.

Cool Beans
Love having a series that focuses on just Harley and her life rather than the Joker (though I miss his appearance) or Batman. I love how it introduces you to her character. Its exactly what I wanted; a series based on her that really had nothing to do with the series she came from. Interesting and funny read. Art is great and though Im not one to talk because I can't draw for nothing but some panels made her look super manly or overly goofy. However, its not a big deal to me because the whole thing was great. Glad I bought it.

Harley Quinn on her own
I really enjoy this trade. I've read several other of the New 52 Batman-related titles. None top Snyder's Batman, but there has been the gamut from good to bad. While Batman or any of the other heroes make an appearance, there are references to Joker and Poison Ivy stops by a couple times. The trade starts in a unique way. Harley and the creative team discuss the artistic style they want to use in a forth wall breaking manner similar to Marvel's Deadpool. A variety of guest artist do their take on Quinn. I was really impressed by Hughes and Panosian's pages. Ultimately Hardin handles most of the art with assistance from Roux and covers by Conner. I thought the art was consistent with the tone of the book. Quinn was sexy without being too much. The violence was never too graphic. The backgrounds and secondary characters were of good quality. The lettering had some variety from the standard methods used in other books. There were some bonus sketches at the end of the trade. The writing was good. The dialogue was a bit stronger than the plot line. I won't spoil any of the storylines, but Quinn gets a fresh start in New York City. In a way it was similar to Fraction's Hawkeye. I agree with many of the points outlined in other 4 star reviews. This trade was not perfect or the best of the New 52 offerings, but showed a fun premise and treated Quinn respectfully. I hope that the story continues to improve with the next trade as I plan on picking it up!

Harley Shot First
Harley is excited about getting her own comic book so she imagines what artists and writers would do her comic. The first story goes through several art and writing styles, including Bruce Timm's DCAU. Thank god there's no Frank Miller version. Harley gets an apartment building and has zany adventures with her new friends. Harley seems to have her heart in the right place but she does go a bit too far sometimes. There's several moments where I laughed out loud and the comedy is actually good....although a little adult for my liking but there's no toilet humor for the most part. I'm trying to get into comics again and this is an interesting place to Starr reading comics

Great Book, Fun Comic
I got the hardcover, and the quality is good. It's got a thick cover, and nice solid binding. The series itself is very entertaining to me. I love Harley's hijinks! Her new 52 series puts her in different light and has a new spin on her backstory. It's doesn't usually get very deep or have an intricate storyline. And while more of that might be nice, I also didn't expect it to have those things. Taken for what it is, I think most Harley Quinn lovers would enjoy this series.

A comedic spotline in a world of grim, serious storylines.
Clever, engaging, and (most importantly) Fun; those are the three things I look for in a comic and this has it all. If you're familiar with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner then you already know what to expect and if you're a fan of Harley Quinn you will not be disappointed. In a world of comics turned as grim and gritty as Nolan's Batman Jimmy and Amanda ensure we don't forget the fun, vibrant place comics can be. If you're a fan of the more playful side of comic books you're in for a treat, if you're more supportive of the grimmer, more serious tone set by Scott Snyder this probably won't be your cup of tea.

YES!!
I really like this comic. I love Harley Quinn and this story shows what happens when she leaves Gotham, and becomes the landlord of an apartment. Its just as crazy and funny as you think it is. I love Amanda Conner's art style since her Power Girl comic, and I like the change in artists. If you want an awesome comic about one of the Gotham Sirens, GET THIS.

arlequina heroina

100% Harley-style
This is exactly what something about Harley should be: super-fun, sexy, sweet, quite psyco and slightly (OK, well, maybe not really "slightly") splatter. Beautiful graphics, really interesting story-line. Oh, and you will ADORE chapter 0. Love it!
