I've seen and read some pretty awful things about this flash drive that scared me to death lol. I heard it was slow as hell, that it never registers when you plug it into your computer, all that good stuff. However, though this may be a terrible flash drive for everything else, for a hacked Wii, it's PERFECT. I play Wii games on my Wii via a usb flash drive, I hacked my Wii. Us hackers know finding a flash drive that's fully compatible with all wii games and homebrew is tough, but this one is, and it does so without ANY problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to run backups or homebrew on their Wii. I bought three 32GB and one 16GB. ALL working wonderfully. Not to mention the super cheap price lol, I'm in heaven.

I am surprised by the number of bad reviews here for Centon USB flash drives. I bought and received a 32 GB unit from Amazon within the past week and it worked immediately. I presently have two 32 GB, one 16 GB, and an 8 Gb Centon drives. They have all worked without difficulty or any kind of failure for me. The write and read times, it seems to me, are excellent; though I don't do anything unusual in that regard, just saving one file at a time mostly. When I have to save thousands of files (for example to backup my music library), I just get it started and go do something until it is done. These Centon drives work on multiple laptops scattered throughout my house, all running XP except one Windows 7. I have noticed that one older computer sometimes does not succeed in recognizing USB memory sticks right away the first time it sees one. I may have to stick it in and take it out 4 or 5 times (with a few minute pause between) before it reports it as recognized and ready for use. Not sure what that is about. In the past, I have had a couple of units of another major brand that had noticably slow write speeds and I avoid that brand totally now. Another brand seemed to work ok, then part of my data disappeared, so I avoid that brand too. I am not giving brand names here because I'm not sure if that would be legally risky. When I get ready to expand to 64 GB, Centon will be the first one I try because of all the good experiences I have had with them in the past.

For the last year or two this is all we have bought for our company when staff request USB drives. The feel of the drives is secure and sturdy and not cheap. The drives are small and compact which is nice for those who have to lug around a laptop and other equipment when they go to work out in the field someplace. Overall I'd recommend these drives to anyone.

It's a great little product, nice and thin so no clearance issues with any USB ports, works with my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S II X with an OTG adapter. A little slow for transfer times, but I can stream a 1080p movie off of it so it's good enough for me.

I was looking to purchase a bulk amount of flash drives to install different Linux distributions. I already had a couple of those "well known, brand name" ones, so I thought that would just be the easiest route to go. After trying a couple I bought from another website, I found the particular type to be discontinued with no further support from their "enterprise" dept. However, my searches on Amazon always brought these up, so with slight nervousness, I made the purchase for this 10 pack. W O W ! Centon has grabbed my attention wholeheartedly. These flash drives are speedy, work in every operating system flawlessly, and have no issue creating live USB CDs. I use a multitude of computers, and it's literally plug and play. What I love also is the packaging of this bulk pack. The drives are stored in easy-to-open antistatic bags, and come with a Styrofoam tray to house them in. All for $5 a unit! Where else would you get something like this?! Nowhere! I am now looking into the other products the co. offers, and I'm quite sure I will be buying those as well. Thanks for making me a convert, Centon! You rock!!!

I ordered 5 packs (50 total) of these flash drives for students at my school to save information for a project. 1 - They took longer to arrive that originally estimated, despite the fact that I paid for expedited shipping. 2 - I only received 45 total flash drives (the shipment was short 5 flash drives). When I contacted the seller (TigerDirect.com), they told me either I would have to return the entire order and have it re-shipped, or contact the manufacturer. Does it make sense to return 45 flash drives to get 5 that are missing? SO frustrating. I still do not have a resolution and I still do not have my 5 flash drives. 3 - Of the 45 flash drives I DID receive, 4 of them did not work. 10% of what I ordered is defective. But then, I would have to return the ENTIRE ORDER to have these replaced. Don't waste your time or your money. Go through a wholesale flashdrive distributor that can provide you with better service, accurate orders, and a quality product. You might pay a little more, but you'll be happier in the long run.

The Centon USB Flash Drives are a wonderful and affordable product for this newly formed non-profit. The flash drives are provided to students taking part in the life skills seminars. Flash drives are a part of the class materials provided by the instructor to ensure each student has the material required to complete these seminars.
