Do these nets come with the carry case or do u buy seperate?

No carrying case comes with the net. It is collapsable and I have never needed a carrying case. The net is reasonably light weight wise.

Have they fixed the weak bag or is it still the same thin bag since 2016

I don't know if the changed anything, but I have been using this net for years and it has worked perfectly. We net up to 30 pound striped bass with this net and have had no problems. My net is probably 8 years old or so and is still in perfect condition.

Can anyone please tell me if this net will float if dropped in the water?

I can tell you. It won't float. I suppose you could tie a float to the handle. Actually, that sounds like a good idea, but I haven't done it and I haven't lost the net yet and I've been using it for about 10 years.

Wonder if I can lift up and carry a fish once I get in the fish. How many lbs it can lift upto?

I landed a 27 pound striper in the net last week - no problem. I'm sure that it would land a 50 pounder as long as you didn't hold the net perpendicular to the ground/water and hold the handle from the back, fully extended. Just remember, when you land that 50 pounder, point the handle straight up to the sky and lift the fish in the boat. This is the best landing net i have ever owned, used or seen.
