Chilli Mash Company Naga Chilli Pickle 190 ml

Great tasting not the hottest but great flavour profile. Delivery method was much better this time with no damage.

Hot, tangy, very good overall. Maybe a little too oily but I just drain it off :) Good for cooking or dipping. Have had several jars of this now.

Initially opened I loved the smell. When I tasted it using a teaspoon it seemed a little bland but was certainly hot enough. Since discovered that it's best eaten with something (obviously) e.g. samosas and onion bhajis and poppadoms as the flavours blend nicely. I had no problems eating it in terms of chilli heat though it is not to be taken lightly and it was too hot for my pre-teen daughters. On the downside I got chilli cramps about 4 -5 am and could have used an ice-cube later that morning.

Spice up food

This adds a nice flavour to a curry or dish but do not expect heat from this. I was making naga curry and it tasted about as hot as a masala.

Got this just before christmas and forgot about it untill I saw it again now ... opened the jar and no pop so had probably already been opened ... contents was brown, not the red colour i would expect from a naga pickle ... also had a cloudy film on the surface of the contents ... may be a good pickle but never tried it ... straight in the bin ... probably not the makers fault but amazon should not be redistributing foodstuff like this when it is returned because its not to some peoples tastes ... disgusting practice !!!
