Easy to iron on garment. Is not visible from outside garment. I have used for years. Easier than needle/thread. Withstands washing machine.

As a short person, I always need to shorten new clothes so, I purchase this iron on tape to have on hand whenever I purchase new skirts, pants - just about anything that needs hemming. It really saves time, and eliminates the chore of either bringing items to be tailored, (which is costly.) or having to sew myself. Also, it launders well, not sure how long it will stay, but so far works well.

It’s didn’t work on my pants.

This hem tape did not adhere at all. Comes with no instructions so had to read a review to know that it doesn’t work like normal hem tape, but has only one sticky side that has to be ironed over the hem and the pant leg. Tried it with these instructions and it still didn’t work.

Bought this to iron over a hem on a valance I was making. Makes the seem look more professional. Easy to iron on with a reasonable hot setting and a bit of steam.

Excellent product.

Not very effective at sealing the gems. This came without any directions. I put the iron on cotton setting to hem thin denim cuffs and pressed it for about 60 seconds. It seemed to seal but then when it cooled it lifted so I hand stitched it instead. I left the iron on tape in the cuff and it worked as a kind of guide and stiffened the fabric for easier seeing but this tape is not the best for using in its own. I think you will have to stitch with thread too.
