Looks and writes like a more expensive pen! 🖋💜
The title says it all, really. This pen looks like it costs at least 4x the amount I paid for it (~$8), if not more. I recently bought a Pilot Metropolitan and tbh I like this pen a lot more! This pen is well made. It has a nice weight to it and the "starry night" color is beautiful. The holographic glitter that covers the whole pen is sparkly but not too gaudy. The silver hardware (clip/barrel trim) is the perfect accompaniment to the black and sparkles. I have big hands so the weight and length of the poem is perfect for me 👌🏾 This comes with a medium nib that writes nice and wet with no skipping ✒ I've had this pen for a few days and have used it everyday since receiving it. The ink in using in the picture is Diamine's Scribble Purple and when I write on on good quality paper you can see the golden sheen of the ink! Color me impressed. I couldn't see that sheen with my Pilot Metropolitan, but that could be because the nib on that one is fine. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and make of this pen. I like it a lot better than my Pilot Metropolitan... and I really like that pen. I think I'll be acquiring a couple more colors of the X750 for my ever growing collection of fountain pens. I say buy it if you're in the fence. It's a great fountain pen for under $10. The best part about that is if you don't like medium nibs or this one comes DOA, you can replace the nib with another #6 nib (from Goulet or elsewhere. I see some on here from another Chinese brand) and still be under the $20 threshold. Now to hunt for a purple one... 😄

Beautiful pen
First, this peen is so pretty! In direct light the pen sparkles so nicely. It’s a heavier weight so feels like a high end pen-but at a budget price. I love the snap cap. And finally, it writes like a dream. Flow is a bit wet but that’s what I like from a fountain pen. I have a black ink with shimmer in it and it’s a lovely combination.

Pretty
Writes well, a good value. Works perfectly with standard international cartridges. Came with a converter. It's a little on the heavier side, and you can't really put the cap on the back of the pen, but it's so very pretty and I am enjoying using it. Great starter fountain pen.

Heavy, smooth, with some flair
Comparing to the Muji in "Fine" and Pilot Metropolitan in M. Used Jacques Herbin bleu cartridges in both Muji and Jinhao, the Pilot has Noodler's Antietam. 1. The x750 is advertised as a "medium" which I find to be more along the lines of a European medium nib. 2. All metal, so it is heavy. Heaviest out of the three, at around 36g without ink. 3. When capped, there is outside branding that is on the band of the cap. 4. Thicc-est in circumference by far among the three, which I like (I wear L gloves in the US). 5. Postable, but it becomes severely backweighted. Up to your preference if you use it posted. Least secured posted out of the three, with Muji being the best with a positive detent and Pilot having a stickier feel friction-wise. 6. The snapcap is the most positive feeling: high in pitch, loudest out of the three, requiring the most force to cap and uncap out of the three also. 7. Nib is super smooth, albeit the nib and feed were not aligned when I received it and the engraving/stamping on the knib is misaligned as well. Does not write as wet/dense as the Muji, but shows more shades of the ink being used. 8. No real line variation to be had from the nib. Did not want to spread the tines too thin that they are unable to return, so did not push too hard. 9. Smooth grip, with a silver band at the stepdown that give it the loud snapcap click. Very comfortable if your thumb happens to rest on the stepdown, as there are no threads there. Overall: unbeatable for the price of $9 shipped within the US. As someone with bigger hands, I love the size and weight, as the pen writes itself practically. No need to push down unless you want to try to get line variation out of the pen. It takes size 6 nibs, so if you have a preferred nib or grind in that size, you can try it in this pen to get a fantastic weighty writer. It takes international cartridges and comes with its own converter, so you can write within minutes of receiving the pen. Finish is flawless outside of a small bubble in the lacquer near the end of the pen, approx. 1mm in diameter, but I cannot complain considering the price. TLDR: unbeatable beater pen (ha), weighty for those who use the pen's weight to write, thicker for those with bigger hands/affinity for thicker grip sections, smooth nib that hits above its price point, includes converter already.

Swapped the nib for a Zebra-G.
I've had this pen for a total of about 6 hours. I bought it because of a reddit article--someone swapped the nib for a Zebra G nib. I'm really into flexy pens, and the claim that you don't have to modify the Zebra G to fit it into the x750 made me very willing to spend $5 and test it out for myself. The nib and feed come out very nicely and the Zebra G nib does indeed fit the Jinhao x750 PERFECTLY. You don't need to saw off the end of the G nib or anything. The ink flow was really pretty great--it takes some getting used to but it barely railroads at all--and I can honestly say I wish I had bought three of these instead of the Noodler's Ahab Flex I bought. I've tested it with Sailor Yama-dori and Diamine Evergreen ink and both have worked very well. I've found that when it does run a little dry or begin to railroad, giving it a quick dip in the ink or (if you don't mind it diluting the ink for a few words) a jar of water works perfectly. The pen itself has a good weight to it and is rather nice looking, in my opinion. The sparkles are fun but not gaudy and theres some pretty black design around the silver rim of the cap. The converter is also pretty nice. All in all, it's a fabulous purchase. Whether you are using it just as is or modifying it, this pen is pretty nice and so cheap you will be happy you purchased it. For those in search of a "modern flex" on an incredibly tight budget, this pen is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Get it.

This is a good pen with a smooth nib. It's a little heavy, but the weight isn't distracting (I have small hands, and I enjoy using this pen). The pen has medium flow, so it's a good way to test out if inks are dry or wet. I use this pen for work. It's a classic black pen, but the glitter makes it interesting. I recommend this pen!
