THIS IS THE ONE!
No joke, this stuff WORKS! Quick backstory: my cat had gotten fleas (I have no idea from where). I took him to the vet, who gave him Capstar (the pill that kills them immediately) and Revolution. It helped in the short term, but the fleas persisted. The problem is that they can linger in your home, and they’re so damn persistent. This is where this spray saved the day. I have now been 100% flea-free for the last couple of months. Not a single flea in sight both in my home or on my cat. I’m going to walk you through how I got rid of them FOR GOOD. It only takes a few days. If you have a single cat and a flea problem, follow these directions (which is exactly what I did) and you’ll be done with fleas in a matter of days once and for all: 1) Schedule a time to board your cat for 2-3 percent days. Yes, I know, your cat won’t be happy about this. This may stress him/her out by being away. But this is a necessary step. The cat is the host, and the host needs to removed from your home in order to truly eliminate the fleas. Try and see if your vet can do the boarding, as a lot of them do. 2) Schedule your cat for a flea-bath at your vet or an animal hospital for end of the boarding just before you plan to bring him/her home. Again, your cat will not be happy about a bath. But the flea bath will TRULY eliminate every single flea and egg on its entire body. The bath is crucial. My cat was miserable about it, but a day later he forgot about it and was back to his happy and itch-free self. 3) Now that you have the boarding and bath scheduled, you also want to get book a hotel or a place to stay for the time that the cat is away. You want to be out of your home for 2-3 days (however long the cat is away). Personally, I took it as a time to get away and de-stress. Go somewhere fun! So now that the planning is done, here’s what to do when the time comes: 4) Drop your cat off for the boarding. 5) Return back home, and vacuum the ever-loving hell out of your home. Get every inch and crevice. Not just a 5-minute sweep over, but a FULL vacuuming of every area possible. When your done vacuuming, throw the bag away. If you have a bagless vacuum like me, dump it and clean it out. 6) This is where the spray comes in! Use this spray and cover EVERY area of your floor with it. Get all walking areas, upholstery, couch, bed, etc. Remember to spray in all the hidden areas too, especially any area your cat has access to. SPRAY A LOT! Use almost all the can but don’t finish it. Just leave a little bit. 7) Get out of your home. Let the spray do its thing. Now enjoy a couple days away. Now for the final steps: 8) Before picking up your cat, return home after your relaxing “vacation” and do another quick vacuum. This time it doesn’t have to be so intense, but enough to go over all areas at least once. 9) Finish off the last bit of the spray. Again, get all main areas. But this time you’re only spraying a little bit, which will dissipate in a matter of hours, so your home will be cat-ready. 10) Pick up your cat from boarding. If you have Capstar pills, great! Give him one. If you don’t have them, no big deal. But I still recommend administering one at this time. 11) Flea bath time! 12) Return home with your cat. He just had a stressful couple days, so let him be. Give him time to relax and unwind. Congratulations, your home will now be 100% rid of fleas. There’s none on your cat due to the Capstar/flea bath combo, and none in your home thanks to the Zoecon spray. THIS STUFF WORKS!!! The steps above are exactly what I did, and it was the ultimate silver bullet. Does it cost time and money? Yes. Does it stress the cat out? Yes. Did it completely eliminate fleas from my home? Yes. It was worth it, and the cat is happy he doesn’t have to live with fleas anymore. Also remember to stay on top of vacuuming (just in case) and keep using monthly flea medication (Revolution is what I use) Even if you have a different method from mine, this spray should still be in your inventory. It works wonders and didn’t leave any residue or odor. Good luck!

Die Fleas, DIE!
My experience was more like dealing with ninja fleas (I saw only a few, but battled the war for over a month...and have the bites to prove it). I did a LOT of research, bought a new vacuum (Shark Rotator - love it), and this was my first real attempt to handle the extermination myself. The animals all got Frontline II spot treatment, which helped them. If you are searching for the fastest and cheapest way to kill existing fleas in your home, save yourself time: this stuff works; it has both an adulticide & IGR (insect growth regulator so the demon spawn cannot reproduce). Read all the reviews - almost all of us who were at our wits' end tried everything short of blowing up our homes. With too many furry ones to vacate the premise easily, I had to spray the house in stages over the span of one week. Since the treatment is active for months, it wasn't as big of a deal. The 16 oz can covers 2000 sq ft. Follow directions: if you spray it too close or too heavy on hardwood/laminent/etc., it will leave a slick, oily residue which becomes sticky when dry (been there, done that). It does smell chemically, like WD-40, but you can quickly start airing out the spaces (unlike foggers) and the smell dissipates. I recommend viewing the 12-minute video Zoecon has on YouTube titled, "Controlling Fleas with Precor Professional Flea Products." Worth a look - the first four and a half minutes explain the flea life cycle and the rest explains proper, professional application. The list of pretreatment guidelines: ensure pets are treated with flea control; prep floors by removing loose items (clothes, toys, etc.), vacuum/mop every where possible; wash all pet bedding in hot water; cover fish tanks/unplug pumps. Post-treatment guidelines: keep vacuuming every 3-4 days - immediately dispose the contents in a bag, in the trash can outside of your house so no fleas survive to crawl back - for 3 weeks so any remaining fleas are sucked up or jump into a treated area.

This stuff is FANTASTIC.....really, really works! Very Pleased!
This stuff is amazing and really works. I bought this to ward off what seemed to be a growing flea infestation. I sprayed as instructed. Now, no fleas on the pups or in the house! And....I see other dead bugs where I sprayed within hours of spraying. My pets have not been affected except for the positive of not being miserable with fleas. There's no strong odor when spraying or after smell that lingers. I bought two cans, and I'll buy two more when needed. It's been a month or so right now. But I'm buying this from now on!

Covers about 1000 sqft, easy to use
I recently adopted two kittens who were infested with fleas. They were too young for any type of preventative, so daily dawn baths were all I could do for them to kill the fleas. Of course, this meant fleas were introduced to my home and I knew that although I was doing my best to prevent an infestation or at least minimize it as much as possible, I would need to treat the house as soon as they were old enough to use prevention. The time has come. I bought this after researching several products. I was worried about treating the house with chemicals as I have a 6-year-old, 3 cats, and a dog. However, I also wanted something that would actually work. After 10 years of working as a vet assistant, if there’s one thing I learned about home treatment, it’s that the green and natural crap just doesn’t cut it. I chose Precor because of its good reviews for being effective, virtually no reports of making pets or children sick, ease of application, and finally, an affordable price. I read the directions thoroughly. I cleared my floors as much as possible and vacuumed before application. I started with just one room so I could keep all the pets out of it while it dried. I shook the can well, then as instructed, held it upside down about 3 feet from the flor and in a sweeping motion, misted every square foot of carpet. It took less than 20 seconds to cover the room. It was dry within an hour, but I let it sit undisturbed until the next morning just in case. The following day, I did another bedroom. Then over night, the living room, dining room, and hallway while the pets were in the first room I completed the day before. So far, I am pleased with the product. It’s very easy to use. Takes virtually no time. There is no odor or smell, however after doing the living room/dining room my husband and I did feel a burn in our throats even though we were in our room with the door closed. We turned off the central air to keep it from circulating through the vents and that seemed to help. None of my animals were affected, neither was our child. I can’t attest to the efficacy as it has not been long, nor did we have an infestation by any means. I was merely using this as prevention of an infestation. My reason for 4 stars vs 5: this is supposed to cover 2000 feet. We have a 1200 sqft house. I barely made this can finish the dining room and there was definitely not enough to even consider doing my daughters room. I was also very careful not to overdo any of the rooms, so I’m confident it was not user error.

Super Lazy Work From Home Flea-Genocide Tactics
This is a bit more than a single product review of Precor 2000 Plus. Since moving out into the boonies of the South, my cats have been feeling the call of their wild ancestors deeply and escaping outside only to return covered in ticks or fleas. This year has been especially wet in the banjo depths of nowhere swampland, so the fleas are getting more resilient and the fleas meds I was buying just didn't cut it (don't waste your money on PetArmor, it sucks). They were driving me crazy with scratching and flea dirt. Everything was getting infested with them. So first... I bought generic Capstar and a different flea topical than I usually get, Advecta. It's supposedly equivalent to Advantage. I gave the cats the Capstar rip-off tablets wrapped in cheese. After one day, I put the topical on them. It seemed to be working well. However, all the fleas started to vacate the cats and converge in my carpet, chairs, blankets, bathroom, beds... I was getting bit up and frustrated. I was paranoid that fleas were on me even outside the house. I caved and went to the store to buy the only flea spray they had in stock, which was Black Flag in a purple can. It claims you can spray directly on pet bedding and even your dog, but I have never attempted to use it on my pets. I prefer the nozzle that sprays upside down, but Black Flag cans have some kind of horn shape and I ended up wasting a third of the can because of defects in design. I used two cans and didn't see immediate results. Fleas were still jumping on me, but I suppose it was delayed. I did notice the flea numbers had reduced a little, but after a day, more of them hatched. Two days after spraying, I placed an order for this Precor 2000 Plus and was still waiting on delivery. I was done playing games. I read a lot of reviews about washing everything and cleaning meticulously... and legit knew I wasn't doing ANY of that. I put all my minimal supply of effort into my job. I work from home, 10+ hour days. I bought a self cleaning litter box... clearly I don't have the spoons for that much scrubbing and vacuuming. I bought 2 cans, prepared to spray the crap out of my house for weeks, on my lunch breaks if I had to. I got the cans in and I did throw the cats into a room for a while and did a single pass perimeter spray for most of the rooms, along the edges, around furniture and under it. Then on any room where I had previously had fleas jumping on my legs, I did two spray passes over the entire surface of the carpet or floor. While that dried, I sprayed the couch, chairs and stripped my bed to the mattress and sprayed that down. I let them dry, put the sheets on and then the top cover, which I sprayed the surface of. My cats sit on my bed, so I figured fleas would just converge there on unsprayed bedding. Once it was dry, I didn't smell anything. I haven't seen a living flea since spraying. This stuff is working 100 times better than the store spray already and I haven't even used a third of the first can. I was worried about using furniture that was sprayed, but I haven't noticed anything weird. It might be less repeat treatments to do all the cleaning people recommend, but if you don't have the time or energy, this stuff will still work well. Just expect to have to spray more and order accordingly.

Excellent - Buy It
This. Buy this. Seriously. This is my second time using this product since 2015 when I had a serious flea infestation from our pets and pest control person recommended this product. I had tried every possible homemade remedy up until this point. When I say serious I mean it. Sometimes I would count almost of 10 or more of them on my feet and socks as I walked through the house. It was so bad our pets were afraid to come inside and my feet were covered in bites. The situation was out of control. After finding out about this product I ordered it immediately. After it arrived, I picked everything off the floor, vacuumed the house and emptied the bag into the trash outside, then washed all the sheets, and blankets, and whatever else fleas could live on. Once we were good, I opened all of the windows, sprayed every inch of floor from about three feet away, including furniture, and got the heck out of the house. After about 4 hours, we returned. There was still a residual odor, but it wasn't intolerable. Next thing I did was mop any surfaces that were not carpeted. While it probably wasn't necessary to spray those areas, I wanted to be sure there would be no escape. We also put some Nextstar on the pets. From the moment we came back not a single flea in sight. Haven't seen any in the house since. Finally our pets are feeling a bit safer in that they are less afraid to walk across the carpets instead of retreating to higher ground as if the floor is made of lava. My only recommendations are to use this product during dry days and when you have good ventilation. It would also be best if you wait at least 6 to 8 hours instead of 4 to 5 to ensure the odor completely dissipates. To be fair, the smell wasn't intolerable but slightly noticeable after only 4 hours. At any rate, I recommend this product. It has worked well for me twice in a row. One treatment will last months, so you should be good.

Best stuff out there!
Have fleas? get this! I moved in to a house that was on the market for a while and ended up having racoons in the 1/2 story attic space. I noticed it before my dog by getting my leg destroyed by bites! After some youtube research I came across this stuff. Forget the home remedies and go straight for this, It worked fast and effectively. The can is easy to used and is set up so you can spray it straight down. I sprayed it on my carpets using broad even strokes and left to go grocery shopping and run other errands with my dog, by the time we got home everything was dry and that night, I didnt notice anything jumping on me anymore. I took my dog to the vet to have her treated and we havent seen a flea since! My house is 1700 sq/ft with my first floor being larger than my top floor, I used 75% of the can on my first floor and half of another on the second floor then finished them both in the basement. It's a little spendy but if you buy this, you wont have to keep spending money on more toxic and less effective competitors.

Skeptical. No smell.
Many of you have stated how strong it is and how you had to ventilate the room for hours. Rather confusing since I had zero smell and used two cans at one time. I hope I don’t have sugar water that seems to be said in a few reviews here. Definitely hope I didn’t have two bad cans for the price of this and nowhere else to purchase it. I will update once I can see the performance of it. Highly skeptical. Currently rating three stars due to the amount of coverage it was able to reach. Update-12/21 it does work well at breaking the life cycle and getting rid of the adult fleas in time. However I don’t think the IGR is strong enough because it has not stopped fleas from emerging continuously. I don’t know what else to use so I have consistently used this. I just am unsure if this is really going to end it for good or not as my cats are still getting them on them in waves and some times worse than others. Been using this product for three months. I also cannot bathe my cats it’s impossible. I suggest using vets best flea and tick bath foam on your animal in between the topical treatments consistently. Stops the itching immediately and works well.
