Needs constant sunshine for fountain to work!!
This is the cutest birdbath!! It holds a good amount of water and when the fountain does work it’s a nice water feature. The little frogs are cute. Although the solar fountain isn’t the best for the PNW and our lack of constant sunshine here. The solar panel does not store energy nor is it recharable...if the sun is not directly shining on it the water fountain does not work. I’m probably going to replace the current pump with a rechargeable solar pump. Also after I set it up, I noticed the base has a crack in it, even though it came packed well in thick styrofoam. I’m not sure if I can get a new base sent to me or if I can/should just seal this crack. I’ll of course try my first option and hope I get a replacement piece that isn’t broken.

Great Bird Bath With Cute Frog Motif!
My husband assembled the bird bath for me. We placed it in the back yard in an area that gets sunlight for part of the day. Sunlight activates the fountain feature. I am very pleased with how it looks and sounds. It's lightweight, which makes cleaning easy. I love frogs, and this was a perfect choice for me.

Pump problems
I liked this birdbath because it was supposed to keep the water flowing through a solar powered pump however the water kept drying up in less than a day. There were no apparent leaks, the pump was working but very low water pressure. It looks ok though.

Nice product
Sooo cute. Just love sitting on my patio and listening to it watching birds. Had a chip in base but I can live with that as probably happened in shipping and is hardly noticiable. It also did not have a hole on rim to put 2nd frog-that is why 4 stars. But it is worth the money and pump is asy to clean and works well.

Completely inferior quality.
I absolutely loved this birdbath when I first got it! After only a month the paint started chipping off the two little frogs. Now the entire bowl has paint peeling off and it's only been used for less than three months. It's really cute and the birds love it. I have one pair of doves that visit it every day so I'm extremely disappointed that it is of such inferior quality and I will have to throw it away.

Very Nice. Larger Song Birds Love It.
The larger song birds in my garden use this very regularly, especially Robin's and Blue Jays. They absolutely love it, and it's fun to watch their little antics. It is very easy to use and assemble. The solar fountain is very nice, but it will be minimal or off on cloudy days or off at night unless you pre-charge it. I just let it run during the day. In Atlanta, it pretty much runs most days...but more birds seem to use it when it is off...

Treat it right! Don't do what I did - it's worth taking care of.
The solar panel works well, but note that it ONLY works when the sun is hitting it - it does NOT store solar energy and does not work in the shade or when clouds pass. I have two of these, the first I received as a gift and didn't get all of the paperwork that came with it. I live in WNC and it gets pretty cold in the winter. I'm from CA and haven't learned all of the prep and maintenance that is needed here, yet. I left this out two winters in a row and the solar panel cracked. It isn't done that, throw it away. I tried cleaning it and cut my finger - not my brightest moment. I tried to buy a replacement solar panel w/pump from the company and it was going to cost $70, I was able to purchase a whole new one (this one) for $80 something and it's worked great. I WILL be bringing it in this winter. I also purchase a $20 floating solar fountain on Amazon that I put in my old one and it's continued to bring us happiness. :) The floating fountain stores a certain amount of energy, which was a nice surprise. But, that's another review I still need to do.

No Longer the Perfect Fountain
Bought this as a water source for my bees. It is the perfect size, sturdy and lovely. The solar function works as describes. Frogs are a really cute accent! Very happy w/ this purchase. 1 year later - cracked and leaking. Solar panel no longer works. Have to replace it as it is empty less than 24 hours after filling due to the leaks. My bees need their constant source of water and this no longer provides that. Cute but not very sturdy...bummer!

It could be lovely, but the base has been made on a slant and it is crooked
