Excellent customer service!
This is an updated review: I ordered this grinder a few weeks ago, and had issues with overheating and the on/off switch. Since I had tried to use it, I didn't think it would qualify for a return. I left a review about the overheating, and was really (pleasantly) surprised that the seller reached out to me about the problems on their own initiative. They were really polite, asked a few questions about the problems I was having, and then offered to replace or refund my purchase. They processed the refund in under an hour. I wanted to come back and update the review to reflect the customer service in my rating- the device has a lot of positive reviews, so I assume mine was just a fluke, and for the price, it's a really nice kit with more than the usual standard accessories (the booklet especially was nice bc I had no idea what each head was technically supposed to do). Had I not bought another grinder before I talked to them, I would have taken the exchange (they didn't even ask me to send the original one back), just bc the rest of the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. A company that stands behind their product says a lot more about their business ethos than a single dud product. At no point did they ask me to change my review; the replacement/refund offer was genuinely them just standing behind their product and customers, which is why I did want to update it. It's definitely one of the nicer kits at this price point, and I would definitely give it another shot if I need to replace the one I bought after theirs in the future. Original review: It came with a lot of accoutrements - two different sets of grinding heads (each in their own case), a large baggie of sanding bands (which are only used for one grinder head, so they will definitely last you awhile), the device itself, and a booklet that explains what each grinder head is used for, with trouble shooting tips and a six month warranty if you complete the registration process (it's explained in the last section of the booklet). The device also comes with a cable and built in adapter; the cord is fairly long but you do need to keep it plugged in while using. Unfortunately, my device kept heating up within 30 seconds of turning it on. It's all metal, so it got too hot to even hold. The cord has an on/off switch, and a forward/reverse switch. It plugs into the bottom of your device like a head jack, and the adapter goes into an electrical outlet. The drill bits/grinder heads basically attach by pushing them in, then twisting a tiny bit at the end. I had some issues with the device turning on and off- some of the drill bits/grinder heads didn't seem to connect, while others were a bit less twitchy. Between that and the overheating, I couldn't really use it. The booklet specs say that the input voltage range is 100-240 V (50/60Hz), and the output is DC 12V 1A. Our outlets are only 120 volts (which is the norm for regular household outlets, stateside, while larger utilities like washers and dryers, refrigerators, etc are higher). I tried it on several different outlets, but the device overheats on all of them. The device should not be overheating since I am well below the voltage limit. In other words, this was definitely caused by the internal wiring of the device itself.

Excelent value for.the price
Nail Drill is perfect for home use. It’s powerful, runs smoothly, and makes filing and shaping nails much faster than doing it manually. The machine is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and it comes with multiple drill bits that cover all your nail care needs. The only small issue is that the speed adjustment can be a little sensitive at first, but once you get used to it, it works really well. Overall, a great tool for DIY nail care, very durable, and excellent value for the price!”

Worth it if you do soft gel at home
I used to think the cheap battery nail drill was great until I bought this. Blows the other out of the water. If you do soft gel at home this is so worth it, will make it 100x easier. Just be careful because it is powerful and you can really file down your nails too much if you get carried away. Even the lowest setting can still be strong with certain drill tips attached. I like the variety you get for the tips but they do wear down and stop being as effective over time. I think that’s inevitable though with any brand. It seems to have a pretty generic way of attaching them though and Amazon sells a lot of cheap drill bits you can surely buy. You get so many with this drill though it would take a while to get to that point though. Be aware that you will need to plug this in to a wall outlet to use it, the cord is fairly long. Only thing I’m not crazy about is the on/off switch. It’s a toggle switch where “off “ is the middle position, and moving it to either side will turn the drill “on” and spin in that direction. It can be tricky to get back to “off” and I often end up making it spin in opposite directions til I get it to turn off. The speed setting is a scrolly wheel next to the toggle switch. It can go really high. This is a great low cost drill that feels professional quality. EDIT: so just short of one year later the cord has developed an issue and the drill will not work unless it’s at a certain angle. I have not quite figured out what that angle actually is, so it’s essentially now useless. It was a good drill if you’re used to those cheap battery ones from Walmart, but I have since replaced this drill with another that was only slight more expensive. Now I highly recommend getting a drill with a locking mechanism for the bit. I thought some vibration from the bit was normal like I experienced with the drill this review is for. But the locking mechanism feature rids you of all that. This was drill wasn’t bad, but there’s better out there. If you do buy this drill though make sure to only get the shorter style bits. The longer ones will make the vibration even worse since it doesn’t lock the bit down.

Loving my toenails again
Bought 5 years ago. Still working. The on and off switch came apart but nothing to put back together and reinforce with a couple of strips of cellophane tape. It has variable speeds that can be fine tuned with the rolling wheel control. This adjustment allows for gentle, virtually ouch-free pedicures and manicures.

Great, Compact, and Super Lightweight Nail Drill
I am very happy with this nail drill. I love long nails, but I have a hard time not breaking my natural nails off and then I end up with some long and some short, never the same length. I’ve recently tried putting gel over top of them to stop that from happening and this nail drill has been wonderful in helping reduce my filing time. I also received a second packs of drill tips that I was not expecting with this package that was a nice surprise. One thing I found out on my own is that the sanding bands were all actually arranged in the container from most coarse to least coarse, so you will want to try to keep them in the same order in your container when you remove and replace them in order to remember which ones are the coarsest because it isn’t very evident visually. I felt it was fairly easy for a beginner to use. I started off slowly and used it very gingerly, not applying too much pressure until I became more familiar with how it worked. It is extremely easy to hurt yourself badly with a drill like this and mess up the natural nail bed, so I recommend everyone do their research before using this kind of a drill. I also did have past experience getting my nails done in a salon and having a drill such as this one used by a professional on my nails before. It helped to research exactly how each tip should be used properly. YouTube and Google are great resources for this. I know it’s gonna take more practice to get better using this drill, but so far I really love it and I’m very happy with this purchase.

defective product?
Okay, I’m going to be real honest here. I bought a nail drill for my aunt and I. Product arrived on time and we’ll packaged. The drill works good but I did notice just one thing that could have made this 5 star review..I noticed that my aunts nail drill speed setting goes down to the slowest or slowest which is good because you wanna be able to control the speed to your liking right ? However mine, even at the lowest setting it still goes pretty fast. Not sure why mine does that or maybe it’s just defective but I’m still disappointed about that. Other wise decent product.

Highly recommend this product
I bought this item with high hopes that it would work great & I was not disappointed! Since are under Covid SIP orders & the nail shops aren’t open yet, my nails were just hanging on by tons of glue & I was desperate to fix them myself. This nail drill got great reviews & was a good price, so I ordered it. It came with so many versatile drill bits & good written instructions that it was very easy to use. As a beginner in using nail drills, I was amazed at how easy this one accomplished the task! I found that the speed & the forward & reverse buttons on the cord were positioned well & easy to adjust. The selection of bits did a great job of shortening my nails & grinding off all the layers of polish & acrylic that had built up. It worked great in both hands & it did a lot of grinding before I needed to let turn it off for a cool down. The motor really never got hot, but I thought it was good to give it a rest before it did heat up too much. I would definitely recommend this brand of nail drill kit to anyone....you can get professional results at home with this item!

Made for US market, not compatible in UK
This item was misrepresented on Amazon UK. The photo gallery shows everything apart from the plug which is a US one and will not work in the UK. I returned the item weeks ago and have still not received a refund.
