Nalgene Easy Sipper (Blue, 1-Quart), 32 oz

These do help minimize the unexpected splashing on my face when drinking, messy pouring to a cup, etc. I bought three for three wide mouth bottles I bought a few months ago. These are a handy, quick fix but seem quickly rushed out to address complains. I’m happy to have them, as are my face and furniture, but I hope a less temperamental improvement comes about. These don’t fit multiple bottles the same. One falls into the bottle when lid screwed on, another sits properly when I tighten the lid verrrry slowly, the third just sits properly. But I’m ok (no sarcasm) paying $4 for a few cents of plastic pressed en masse by the thousands because they do make my life easier. The color choices are stupid, I’ll buy the cheapest color.

I love this more than the silicone ones! It fits my 32oz wide mouth Nalgene from REI perfectly and adds a perfect pink color.

These work great! So much easier to drink working out, driving, or just relaxing. I’m not unintentionally drowning myself anymore. Or wearing more than I drink. Durable. Hard black plastic. Easy to wash.

The good...and the bad... The good: 1) It easily fits inside the neck of the wide-mouth Nalgene bottles and keeps the liquid from sloshing around when trying to drink it on the go. 2) It's also easy to wash. The bad: 1) It isn't clear in the ad that this is for only ONE cap. Once I received it and realized it was only one I then looked at the title and see that it ends with the word "Black." It should be more clear that this is only for one and not for six, like pictured. 2) The Price...this is a $0.05 part, which is why I thought this price was for six of them. But Nalgene seems to be only one making and selling these for the Nalgene bottle so if you want one, you will have to pay. Personally, I can't quite figure out why so many people like the wide-mouth bottles. They are very expensive and unless you want to wear your drink you will need one of these in addition to the bottle. That's something like $15 for a water bottle. I do understand that the wide-mouth bottles are easier to clean but I only put water in my bottles so that feature is lost on me. I also recognize that you can fit ice cubes into the wide-mouth bottles...but I don't like cold water and when I do, I simply fill the bottom inch of my water bottle with water and then freeze it. Prior to a long trip I recently purchased both a new wide-mouth (with this sipper cap) and several of Nalgene's old style white thin-necked blue-capped 32 oz. bottles. The old style bottles won out by a mile. They are much easier to drink from while driving, walking, hiking, etc. than the wide-mouth bottles. They also are made from a softer plastic which I like more. Someone mentioned that there is difference in materials between these two that could have health consequences but 1) most of the super bad crap that used to be in plastic reusable bottles has been banned and 2) I'm not leaving water in these long enough for it to matter.

Product was exactly as described. I have issues with my lower jaw and this made my Nalgene much easier to drink out of! And the color was fun too.

This transformed my entire experience. So simple yet so useful. Water doesn't spill around anymore and it's easier to drink.

I got this product to replace the humangear capcap gen 2 I ordered a couple of years ago. I didn't like how the silicone o-ring design would often house mildew. This definitely fit the bill. Clocking at about $6 if you choose a not-bulk pack this insert is snug enough in the wide mouth. Fit was my main concern as i was concerned that if I attempted a "Chug" the water might cascade through attachment, dislodging it thoroughly and pour the contents of my 32 oz Nalgene on my lower face and chest. There is not fitment issues. It sits snugly in the mouth, and cannot be easily removed unless you stick your finger into the hole and pull out with some intention, at which point it will "pop" out with some authority. The texture of the attachment is a matte. I have rinsed it, but if it required committed cleaning, it will surely be easy to do. See attached photos for detail. The attachment will fit in the 48 oz widemouth nalgene as well. Second photo from a oblique angle shows 48 oz. Also, Pink!

C'est franchement simple comme objet mais ça fonctionne super bien ! Je regrette par contre le prix que je trouve un peu trop élevé pour un objet comme celui ci. Il va parfaitement avec ma Nalgene de 1L.

I am a huge fan of Nalgene water bottles. I have taken those bottles on camping trips and dropped them from heights onto the rocky terrain on the Canadian Shield more times than I can count, I've accidentally kicked them down paths and more, but I have yet to have one break on me. Only problem is, I seem to be incapable of drinking from the wide mouth of the bottle without pouring half of it down the front of my shirt, and I don't like the narrow mouthed versions as much because they're hard to clean. This fits perfectly inside my nalgene, doesn't leak around the edges, and is easy to remove and clean. Like my nalgene, this is also an essential for me now.
