Will this hold a 5 string Jass Bass?

For sure, extends high enough to hold any convention full scale bass (obviously won’t work with Steinberger-styles with no headstock). Own three different Hercules stands, only brand I will use now, great quality

I have a warwick stryker bass. does hercules make a guitar stand that would accomadate this bass? my present hercules stand isnt tall enough

They hold my Ibanez 4 and 5 string bass guitars and my Fender Jazz bass. These are adjustable to a point. Don't know the length/height of your bass.

Are the grips going to breakdown or have you fixed that common problem? I've read that after several years they get all sticky/gummy.

This is the “Plus” version that has a redesigned adjustment grip (the photos still show the previous model). What you’re referring to is the older non-Plus version when Hercules used to use the eco friendly coating on the grip that they no longer use.
