Bought a 2nd one, works fine under harsh conditions
I bought a 2nd one (Runleader Digital Self Powered Wireless Hour Meter), and installed it on my Bearcat String Brush cutter. I was worried about placement of this because this tool vibrates alot, gets pretty hot, has brush rubbing on it all the time (so it could get knocked off). I put it on the side of the engine cover plate. Seemed like the most out of the way place (I'll provide a photo, later). It worked fine. On a hot day I was using this for a couple hours and I was able to touch (with my hand) the Hour meter and the Engine cover plate without getting burned; guessing that was well below the 140F limit. I put 4hrs on the Hour meter which was pretty accurate. I'm about to buy a 3rd of these Hour meters to put on my log splitter (for tracking the maintenance).

Works well
Simple to install and it works on a GX high pressure air compressor. I took it out of the container, peeled the paper off and stuck it to the compressor with no adjustments needed. It works great and good value for your money.

Easy to install--easy to operate--works
I'm a fan. I like running hour meters on all my power equipment because it helps me be mindful of maintenance schedules etc and also to monitor things like "wow this chainsaw DRINKS gas... and after only x hours we killed 5 gallons of premix" or whatever. I suppose I think of hour meters as part of good hygiene for tools in a shop. One thing I LOVE about this one is that it doesn't require any WIRES. I'm perfectly capable of wiring up an hour meter... but if I get to have a choice between drilling an access hole in the cover of a $1600 chainsaw and NOT drilling a hole in the cover and just literally just sticking the meter on the side of the case... well that's a really easy choice. Sure this is more expensive than most "wired" hour meters but the wireless hour meter KTM puts on my race motorcycles cost more than 70 bucks each!!! So... compared to that these are a deal. (And lucky for me I've never had to actually pay for my KTM hour meters (grin) (and thanks KTM!) I'm a fan. I recommend them. I'm sure I'll buy another one of these if I obtain a piece of equipment that requires "destructive access" to install a wired hour meter.

Work as described.
Nice tool to keep a record of time of use. I use my on a high pressure air compressor. Overall Great, overtime my rating may raise to a full 5 stars. Time will tell.

Wonderful value for a necessary dirt bike item
After careful review of wired (coil wrapped) and vibration sensing gauges, I chose to purchase the Runleader HM016B for my 2015 Husqvarna FC250 dirt bike. The meter includes a 3M tape backing and has holes/slots for additional zip-tie fasteners. Installation is simple: affix to the frame near the engine. Done! Operation is pretty straightforward as well: once tethered, the meter will track usage hours. Reviewing usage, total and trip, however, is not as easy and will require reading (and holding on to) the instructions printed on the cardboard back of the package. Like most single button gadgets nowadays, the user will need to be able to press and hold the button, wait three seconds then press again, etc. Not difficult, but a couple more buttons would have been a nice addition. Still, it comes down to price, and at this price point, the meter seems to be doing what its designed for. Time will tell if it holds up to water, mud, heat, braaps and growls from a European bike!

Not sure I should complain, but,,,,
Not sure I should complain, but I think this unit requires more "vibration" than my PCP compressor makes. I set it to 'high sensitivity' and ran my CS4-i for eight minutes with nothing recorded for time of use. In fairness, the videos showed it attached to gasoline machines and larger air compressors; but not mine. I feel conflicted bc it cost $24 which is wildly over-priced imo, but I did cut it out of the blister pack it came in, so I will just swallow the mistake. On the other hand, I have never been that concerned how long a lawnmower or large compressor ran with regular maintenance intervals. TBH, I don't think this has much use if it won't do time of use with more delicate machines that require it. Don't recommend.
