Battery was D.O.A. Installed battery in a GPSmap 276c, and after hours on charger, the GPS's screen said "Battery Missing". Reseated the battery in the GPS several times, but the GPS never recognized that a battery was installed. The GPS works okay while on charger, but not on battery. Also, the fit of this clone battery is inferior to that of the OEM; it did not lock into the case as securely, and it even fell completely out of the GPS when the GPS was moved.Update 6/9/2017: The seller (UpStart Battery) quickly promised to send a replacement for the D.O.A. battery, but after 2-1/2 months and several emails, none has arrived.

This is a good replacement battery that snapped into place and works properly, all for a reasonable price.I recommend it to my friends. No cons.

The battery works well with the Garmin 276C. The only issue I had was fit. I had to pull up gently on the locking tab to extend it. This allow the battery to fit and lock in. Had I not done this, the battery would not seat properly and kept falling out.

Had the opportunity to install it this weekend. DID NOT FIT. Too bad I'm past the return date. Would not purchase again or recommend purchasing.

Works good enough. The fit isn't the same as the direct Garmin replacement but I didn't pay Garmin price either.

Bought a Garmin replacement battery at Aircraft Spruce and it died in less than 2 years. So figured what did I have to lose.So far, so good. Meter shows 6 hours of use, and it fits fine (but as others have said, you have to tighten up the latch.)Would definitely recommend.

Yep. I read the reviews and still bought one. It won't stay in the unit even after I tried to shave the tab. I had it strap it into my 495 with electrical tape.

Fit my Garman 296 and works fine. Had to shim the top side with some tape to push it against the catch so it would latch, but otherwise fine.
