Vinyl pen
Works great for marking vinyl and dark fabric.

Great Deal!
I used to buy the silver pens from Tandy, but they are expensive for what you get from them. (I've purchased some that only have 1" of ink in them.) I will be buying these from now on. Like another reviewer says, they fit in the Tandy silver pen. The ink cleans off just as easy. Plus you get 100 refills for the price of two pens from Tandy. So if some of the 100 dry up before you get to use them, they will still be a far better deal. Now I want to find a solid pen case to use with these refills, but for now my old Tandy pen case will work.

Great washable pens!
Great water based pens. I use them on leather and vinyl and they wash off great with a soap/water mix. They do tend to use up fairly quickly but there’s a lot in one pack so it’ll last you a fairly long time. Just make sure to wash it off at least after 2-3 days as sometimes it’s a little more difficult to wash the pen mark off

My new go to for marking faux leather
These pens work fantastic on faux leather. I have had mixed results removing the marks made but I primarily use them for tracing pattern pieces to cut out so it isn't an issue. The color shows up great on dark and light colored material. Extremely easy to use. They are strong enough to be able to use just the refill and feel sturdy.

So handy and marks easily on leather, paper, and cloth
I found these pens through leatherwork and now I use these pens for many things like making patterns on paper then drawing the pattern onto leather. They mark easily on wood, and cloth as well. Crafters will love these! Don’t use on veg-tan leather if you want to erase the marks. Buy several because the ink goes fast since it flows so well.

The markings do not disappear with ironing.
I like these pens because they show up well on most fabrics. The silver shows up nicely. I stay on the outer edges when marking because these don’t out with heat.

Will Not Disappear with Heat
This silver refill ink was great for my felt crafts and showed up the best on all colors. —That is, until I tried to remove it with a heated iron. I have had no problem with any other color thermal ink before so I gradually increased the heat to the highest setting. Still no-go. The silvery color disappears leaving a black line behind. I contacted the seller to see if there was some trick I was missing but was directed to increase the heat setting. Been there, done that. They promptly refunded my purchase. Unfortunately, I had completed an order for 15 hand embroidered Christmas ornaments and all of them had black ink left behind as a guide for the embroidery design. Amazingly, my Aunt who was the customer (yay!) actually liked the effect on the poinsettia leaves so I wasn’t out time and materials (wool felt + embroidery thread)! I still cried because I pride myself on my attention to detail. ** Please note: This issue was limited to the silver color ink ONLY. All other inks functioned as advertised. Very responsive seller. They apologized for the difficulty and refunded the purchase lightening-fast. They even reached out to me again later to make sure the problem had been resolved to my satisfaction. Excellent customer care! I will order from this seller again—I’ll just make sure it is for any other color than silver. 😉

These work great!
Work great on vinyl, haven't tried them on leather yet. Price is great for what you get. Nice clean lines. As a side note: These are just the refills. If you don't have say a Tandy pen that these will work with, you can go to the Dollar store and get some of the cheep Bic stick pens, and these will slide in them. Then you will have a proper pen to hold on to.

Work very well and will fit the Tandy pens (the tip is a little shorter). They don't last as long as the original refill for the Tandy pen but that is more than made up by the quantity of refills. Excellent deal.

False advertising. Those are NOT disappearing or heat erasable as stated in the ad . I used it and completely ruined my material. Needless to say I am not very happy.

it's great that it marks on dark fabrics but is definitely not heat erasable just like so many others have stated wanted to add an update to my review: I ordered different silver pens in hope they would come off with heat but still not coming off with heat so I tried to wash the navy fabric that I had tried both different pens on and it came off so these will be ok for items you can wash but not for items you can't wash it may be ok if you can just sponge it off with some soap and water but try it first on a piece of scrap, I have adjusted the stars for the rating because of this
