It works, as simple as that

I bought this to adjust the front sight (A2-style) on my Bear Creek Armory AR clone because my shot groups were going 6"-8" too high, having run out of adjustment with the A3-style carry handle/rear sight to get the groups on target.I'm happy to say that the this tool works perfectly to get the necessary adjustment to the front sight, which came from the factory (this was good) at its lowest position, allowing me to move it upward, taking approximately 1/8" of unscrewing to get my groups where they should be.The tool is steel with a black oxide finish for rust resistance, and it has one end with five prongs for A1-style front sights and the other end with four prongs for A2-style front sights, with knurling to make it easier to grip.Just so that I would have it close at hand, I put the tool in the finger of an oversized nitrile glove, then stuffed it into the hollow pistol grip of my AR.

Solid and works well with Ozark iron sights

The reason I bought this was because standard front sight adjustment tools don't fit around the Ozark iron sight (I tried until I broke 2 standard tools lol). I don't know if Ozark did this on purpose so we would have to buy their tool, but regardless this tool fits it perfectly! On a side note, had I known these sights needed their own unique tool, I would have just bought Magpul iron sights. I bought Ozark because I wanted to keep cost down. But having to buy the tool adds to the total cost. Also, now only this tool fits the iron sight. I don't like that I can't use a standard tool. So if you're sight shopping too, look elsewhere. (Ozark iron sights are solid, and I have no complaints other than the tool).

Stick with same brand if possible

I would advise buying this tool if buying Ozark flip up sights. I bought a cheaper one and it didn’t fit correctly where this tool is on point for both the 45* angle flip ups and the horizontal ones.

Doesn't even work with their own product.

I bought this for a budget build with fixed iron sights. I bought the fixed front post from Ozark and thought, "of sure I'll grab their front pin tool also to be sure I can adjust it. Wrong. This thing is not well made. The engagement pegs are unevenly sized which causes it to become misaligned with the slots in the sight pin. This doesn't even work with the front sight made by Ozark. The outer diameter is too big to slip between the walls of the front sight and the slots of the pin. This causes the teeth in the tool to bend inward toward the center. Also it seems the teeth in the tool are bigger than the slots in the sight pin, so I doubt it would even engage if it did clear the frame.EDIT: Upon further investigation, it appears the fixed front sight from Ozark is the main culprit of the interference. Several reviewers said that their standard A2 sight tools don't fit either. My opinion about the craftsmanship of this tool still stands though. It's cheap metal and poorly manufactured.

Worked perfectly (for me)

I bought this to replace one I got from Real Avid because all the teeth snagged and broke off upon using it.This one from Ozark Armament is considerably better quality; the thickness and shape of the prongs/teeth are much more robust and well fitting, and the gripping surface/handle is much easier to hold on to, which was necessary in my case as the sight post was very stubborn.I only needed it for the A2 side and it worked flawlessly for that, but I have to give 4 stars due to the A1 side which had a very noticeably bent tooth that required me to use pliers to straighten, and it took a minute to actually insert it onto the sight post as the fit was VERY tight, but it did work.It was shipped without any packing materials whatsoever, so I would think bent teeth are not uncommon, but it is a minor problem that's easy to fix at least.

Great little tool. No issues at all.

I see some reviews saying that it doesn’t work or that the teeth are too flimsy and break, but if you take 2-3 seconds to line it up correctly and depress the sight retention pin instead of just jamming it in like a square peg in a round hole, it works beautifully. Stays in without being pushed out easily by the retention pin when making multiple turns and turns nice and smoothly. No complaints. Works great. Waaaaay easier and faster than the old school “bullet” method. For the record, I have flip up BUS’s which use pins of the four prong A2 style, so I have not used the 5 prong side, but I have no reason to believe that it wouldn’t work just as well.
