Excellent product
This headlamp is so useful for my job! I'm a quality inspector and it helps to have a light and a closer look at parts. The light is the perfect brightness and it's great to have multiple lenses to choose from. The price is also right! I didn't want to spend a lot because it's for work, but this will serve me for years.

It functional and Lite on the Head and Neck.
When I took the head magnifier glasses out of the box, I thought it was a toy because it was smaller than what was shown in the ad. I gave it a try and it blew me away. It is lite on the head which makes for less strain on the neck, even with the lens inserted. You will forget you have it own. If you wear glasses, you know what I mean. I am so glad I can switch between the number of provided lenses and that they come in their own case. The lens are easy to insert and remove from its notch on the glasses as well as adjust to see where you needed them to. I am using the head magnifier to work with small jewelry parts, like crimp beads, crimp bead covers, seed beads and opening and closing jump rings. I can see what I am doing so much more clearly with this head magnifier which means less chasing smaller seed beads. The quality of these glasses are great. It will take much stretching of the arms to break them if you just want to use the arms instead of the headband that is included. I prefer the glasses arms because I can pull it off easily or just lift the lens bracket, to get my next item. These magnifying glasses are very functional, thus, useful for the other crafts I do also, like weeding vinyl when I work on small cricut crafts. Oh, if you ever need more light, just push the button on top of the glasses. Two pushes on the button will give you more light. Overall, if I could, I will give these glasses a ten. I know I will get my money worth and more from these glasses.

Great for cross stitch but can be uncomfortable
I got these to cross stitch with so I didn’t have to keep moving my magnifier lamp from side to side. The magnification is great, and I like that you can adjust the angle of the lens as needed. I was worried the max magnification of 3x would not be enough, but it was just fine. I liked the glasses but I changed to the strap for more security. The product is very light weight and I like that I could comfortably wear it over my large, high bridge eyeglasses. Some cons for me: the light only has two brightness settings and it is more of a blue/cool tone light. I would have preferred something brighter but not an issue for me. I will also say I struggled to push the tab on the glasses with my thumb to change to the strap, the plastic is very rigid. I used another tool to push it down enough to release. The biggest issue for me is the pressure point. The hinge part is angle inward, presumably to help stabilize the product on the face. However, because of this, I am unable to use the item for more than maybe a half hour at a time as the pressure on my temple causes me to have a headache and joint pain in my jaw. I tested this throughout the day to be sure it was the hinge pushing a pressure point in my temple. I’ve loosened the strap so that it was not tight on my head but still secure. I tried it with the earpiece instead of the strap. So if you have a wide head, you may feel some discomfort over time. I still really like the item, but I’m a little disappointed I can’t just pop them on and mindlessly craft for long periods of time.

The finest instrument I have ever used for the price.
This is one of the most impressive products I have purchased from Amazon in the 8 years I've done business with them. When used properly this product is absolutely excellent. I am nearly 70 and my eyesight is not that great, in my career I often had to work with extremely close instrumentation and circuitry as well as finding minuscule faults in products. Now retired this product has brought back the joy of being able to work on very close projects again! Let me give some advice to customers or prospective customers: first this is not a pair of reading glasses it is a fine instrument, handle it with care do not force the adjustments and you will avoid breakage. Secondly I highly advise that you study the simple but valuable instructions that come with it but what is very important is that you start out first getting the adjustments correct for the maximum amount of comfort, I highly recommend like many using the headband instead of the earpieces. Third you need to work with this product carefully at first to learn the proper magnifications and how each adjustment works there are several adjustments that make this absolutely impressive. And last spend time PRACTICING, once you become familiar with how each adjustment works for different situations and the proper use of magnification and distance to the subject you're working on this becomes a joy to use. Another piece of advice is the highest magnification lenses required getting rather close to what you're working on I would suggest that if you're sitting at a table you elevate what you're working on perhaps using a stack of books to bring it closer so that you do not have to lean over bending your upper back and neck too much then you have perfect comfort to work with incredibly fine magnification. In addition this should not be used in low light levels either provide additional lighting against your subject or work in a well-lit room the built-in lights then work perfectly but they're not meant to be used in a darkened area. Personally I have found the 1.5X lends to be the most general purpose to use. This product has got one of the highest cost to functionality and usefulness ratios I have ever seen. Bravo to Yoctosun for creating such a fine instrument, and many thanks to Amazon for making it available in their product line for ordering.

Finally I can see!!
This thing is great! It's lightweight, comfortable and has enough light output to do fine detail work, and the magnifying lenses work extremely well.

For MYSLEF not so good
I love the concept and for many it might be a 5* item but for me personally I have to go with a 3 because the light isnt bright at all as in i had to check multiple times to see if it was on and the lens made everything blurry all the trouble shooting and so on didnt help one bit and it wasn't just my eyes I am sorry this was my experience I hope others are different

I bought these since I needed magnification with lightening and having my hands free. Overall I am OK w/ the result although not getting the magnification I hoped for. Regarding magnification values - it follows the rule that these are generously exaggerated for most magnification products on Amazon. For the “3.5x” I can see linear magnification 1.7x-1.8x and area magnification around 3x. All lenses were w/o surface issues, the LED and battery so far work, there is a tightening band and lens cleaning cloth in the set For 28EUR the construction seems weak (too thin plastic in some places which may be OK for aesthetics but not great for robustness of a tool). Also the part to which the different lenses are attached seems to be a weak point. From what I see, this part will lose its holding properties after some small number of lenses exchanging. So the way I intend to use the glasses is to put the lenses which I would use the most and avoid removing or changing them. Perhaps I will even glue them. For my situation this will be kind of OK but for somebody else could be an issue. Update: The product failed after less than 1 hour total use, indeed the way the lenses are attached is poor, although not in the way I expected. What happened is that during use I pushed up the lenses, they somehow dismounted and fell on the ground and the mounting hook broke. So I lost the highest magnification option already. Indeed, permanent gluing seems to be the way to go…

I needed to repair a pair of cheap reading glasses that I only use at home instead of my bifocals. Fortunately I didn't loose the tiny screw that held the nose piece in place. I also do models that often have small parts that are a) hard to hold b) need two hands c) hard to see. Looked for something wearable and ordered these. Worked like a charm. I tried the headband with my normal glasses but found that uncomfortable so switched back to the arms without my glasses on. I could still see the small screw and hole. the light is bright but takes a little getting used to to aim it at the part that you are working on. Just remember Focal Length changes with stronger lenses, so you may have to get closer to what you are working on.

As someone who spends hours working on intricate tasks like jewellery making, electronics repair, or even reading fine print, finding the right magnification tool is crucial. Recently, I acquired the LED Head Magnifier, and it has truly changed the way I approach detailed work. Here's my in-depth review of this handy device. Design & Build Quality: The first thing that struck me about the LED Head Magnifier is its thoughtful design, it remains comfortable during long periods. The magnifier itself is lightweight, which is essential for extended wear. Magnification: The primary reason for getting this tool was, of course, its magnification capabilities. The LED Head Magnifier comes with multiple lenses, ranging from 1.5x to 3.5x magnification. These lenses are easily interchangeable, allowing me to switch between magnifications depending on the task at hand. Whether I'm soldering tiny components on a circuit board or examining gemstones for imperfections, the clarity and magnification provided are exceptional. LED Lights: One of the standout features of this magnifier is its LED lights. Positioned around the lenses, these lights provide bright, focused illumination exactly where it's needed. This is invaluable when working in dimly lit areas or when dealing with small, intricate details. The lights are adjustable, allowing me to control the intensity based on the environment. Versatility: I appreciate how versatile the LED Head Magnifier is. It's not just for professionals; hobbyists, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts can benefit greatly from its use. Whether you're into model building, sewing, or stamp collecting, this magnifier offers the precision and clarity needed for detailed work. Ease of Use: Another aspect worth mentioning is the ease of use. The magnifier is straightforward to set up, with clear instructions for attaching and swapping lenses. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit, and once in place, I can work hands-free, which is incredibly convenient. Value for Money: Considering the quality of construction, the range of magnification options, and the added LED lights, I find the LED Head Magnifier to be an excellent value for the price. It's an investment that enhances the quality of my work and reduces eye strain during long periods of focus. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, the LED Head Magnifier has become an indispensable tool in my workspace. Its comfortable design, exceptional magnification capabilities, bright LED lights, and ease of use make it a standout product in the market. Whether you're a professional in need of precise magnification or a hobbyist looking to elevate your crafting game, I highly recommend giving this magnifier a try. It's a small tool that makes a big difference. If you're in the market for a reliable, versatile, and effective head magnifier, look no further than the LED Head Magnifier. It's a game-changer for anyone working on intricate tasks that demand precision and clarity.
