Amazing tea set. I can only recommend it. My family loves it so so much and I even have 2 as gifts to my parents in law and to the godfather of my son.

This was a gift for my tea drinking aunt. She is being using it for almost two weeks now, and she loves it. She particularly praises that the loose tea never comes out of the strainer infuser. She also loves the double wall cups; she says they are beautiful, and they really make the tea stay warm until you finish drinking it. In fact, she is using the cups not only for tea, but to serve some coffee drinks too. At first I had to contact the seller because one of the cups came with the small stitch on the bottom unsealed, which made it absorb water and foam between the walls when washing it, and of course, made the insulation broken. The seller was prompt to answer and more than kind, offering to send a whole new set without us having to send anything back.

Very fragile! But lived it

I really do like this set. It is well made and gorgeous! However, the one issue that I have encountered is the infusion basket. It is permanently attached to the trim ring that the lid sits in. I have other glass tea pots that I really do like and enjoy that have a very similar design and construction, except that the infusion basket can be removed from the trim ring so that the lid can be placed back inside the trim ring either because I used tea bags instead of loose tea, or I have removed the infuser that contains the loose tea. If I remove the infuser I also remove the trim ring that holds the lid. The lid cannot be placed on the top of the pot unless the trim ring is in place. Slightly disappointing design, but very nice quality and appearance otherwise.

Beautiful teapot Christmas gift.

The teapot: Very disappointing. I had a glass teapot of 4 years before it finally died and I thought this would be its replacement. Wrong. The glass quality is not thick or strong. The spout broke after just 2 uses. What a waste of money. The mugs: I have Joyjolt double-walled glass mugs, and compared to those these mugs are definitely of lesser quality. The glass is not as thick and durable, and the construction is not as sharp. Side by side comparison with Joyjolt, you can tell the glass on these are not blown as well and show more ridges/wobbles. The infuser: The infuser is nice in that it has mesh holes on the bottom as well for more tea flavor to steep out and there are no annoying solid panels on the side of the infuser displaying any etched branding. However, the metals that jut out from the infuser to grip onto the teapot has 90 degree sharp angles that can cut you if you are not careful. The other downside is that the lid will not fit onto the teapot if you take out the infuser. So if your tea flavor is too strong and you need to remove the leaves, then you can no longer keep the lid on to prevent the tea from cooling down at a faster rate.

I have a son that I bought this for as he is a big tea drinker. He absolutely loves it, says the tea made with it tastes even better than usual! He loves the design and the sheerness of the pot and the mugs. So glad I found this unique tea set!!! Definitely recommend it for the tea drinker in your family!!!
