I purchased a 3/4” x 6” medium tool steel hex bolt from Home Depot (see 01-Standard Unmodified Bolt v Accusize Bolt.jpg) 2. The bolt was faced and turned-down to fit the Smithy and main Accusize assembly (see 02A-02C Modified Bolt pictures) 3. The bolt was heat treated to increase hardness (see 03-Heat Treated Modified Bolt (w Accusize Nut).jpg) 4. A mount plate was fabricated to provide standoff and orientation to Smithy and lock rotation-ensuring alignment of Accusize assembly. (see 04-Mount Plate.jpg) 5. Fully assembled solution (see 05A-05B Assembly pictures) IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The threads on the bolt are NOT M14 x 1.5, but rather 9/16-18 NF (the same thread type as standard size for lug nuts!)
