Excellent for the Value Make sure o read my entire review
No problems yet. I typically try to stay away from unknown brands but after purchasing Detriot Axle parts in the past I haven't had any issues. So I figured I would give them a shot. It's been at least 6 months since the installation and all is well still. No noise and the ride quality improved. This was also part of a front and rear strut replacement for my SUV which is a dodge 2011 nitro Heat. The value and quality of the part is excellent so far. Most importantly I didn't get a call from the shop saying the part doesn't fit if there is an issue I would later find out the my nitro has 2 types of swaybar links (Front Sway Bar Links and Rear Sway Bar Links) and Detriot only provided

Great economy short term fix
This is a nice all in one kit.. however 15 months later the front end shop said my upper ball joints need changed.. so great quick fix but the longevity may not be there. Still a great value

Lower control arm shock mount out of spec
The lower control arms in this kit have shock mount brackets that are shallower than OEM causing the shock to scrape metal-to-metal against the bottom of the bracket, likely causing the noise issues others have reported. I contacted the manufacturer (info at detroit axle) and have received no response in 5 days. I can't return this to Amazon as a kit because the other parts are all installed and would be tremendous work to remove and replace. I will be forced to eat the cost of purchasing lower control arms from another brand in the meantime. -------------- I have no resolution to this issue after a week of back and forth with customer support. What follows is that conversation: -------------- == Me: I recently replaced my front end suspension with your kit 10CS2501369. Everything works great except one thing. The bracket on the lower control arm where the shock mounts to it is too shallow and the outside of the shock mount rubs on the lower control arm. Picture attached. In this case I'm using new shocks also sold by you from kit 6QS1300565. I am realizing now that the OEM shocks would not have even been mountable because they have a larger lower mount diameter than the ones from Detroit Axle. This is clearly a defect in design. I will be required to purchase new lower control arms since these can't be modified to fit properly. Please see the attached pictures of the OEM control arms and shocks compared to the Detroit Axle ones and of the interference between the shocks and control arms. Is there anything you can do to provide a correctly designed lower control arm for my 2004 Nissan Titan? == [email protected]: Thank you for reaching out to Detroit Axle. We understand you'd like to return the control arms for an exchange. While your order is past our standard return policy timeframe, we’re willing to make an exception in this case. Please note, the exchange can only be processed if the control arms are still new and unused. Once we receive and inspect the parts and confirm their condition, we’ll be happy to move forward with the exchange. Let us know if you need a return label or have any questions. == Me: The control arms are not unused. They caused an issue that was only identified after weeks of troubleshooting a metal-on-metal squeaking issue. I do not want an exchange. I want you to fix your design of these control arms so others don't have the same issue and you have a usable product then potentially send me the revised version. I recommend pulling a sample of this product from your stock and check the tolerances against the shocks that you sell for this vehicle or against an OEM lower control arm. The shocks will fit but the clearance is too low such that under load, the bushings flex and cause metal to metal contact between the shock and LCA bracket as I have documented. I have spent significant time troubleshooting and identifying this issue, providing you with useful detailed feedback and pictures of a design flaw in your product. You need to do what is necessary to resolve the issue for your own sake. Your reputation is at stake not just with me but with anyone else who buys this product. == [email protected] We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, and we truly understand your concern. However, since the order is significantly past our return policy timeframe and the part has been used, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement in this case. We apologize again and appreciate your understanding. == Me: Do you plan to correct this issue? If I purchase a replacement from you, will the issue be resolved or will it have the same problem? This isn't a manufacturing defect. It is a design flaw. == [email protected] Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. Please note that the parts in question do not have any known issues or design flaws. If you'd like to place a replacement order, you're absolutely welcome to do so—we’ll be happy to assist you.

Great for my 2006 Silverado
Installed this kit on my 2wd Silverado. No lift, in my garage in a night. New parts all went on relatively easily. No major hangups or misfitting parts. Upper arms slid right in. No need to even persuade them like I expected. Bottom ball joints had to be tapped lightly into their spot but wasn't much of anything at all go accomplish. The only difficulty in doing this job was getting the factory ball joint rivets out of the control arm. That took some major hammer time and broke a few drill bits as well. That has nothing to do with this kit though and does not reflect on it's quality. It is how we a heads up to someone about to do this job themselves. That part is a pain and isn't easy always. One other thing. The bolt for the sway bar end links are looooonnngggg. I ended up taking about an inch off mine when I was done to get rid of some of the excessive long bolt sticking past where the stock one would have. Not an issue. Just a quick snip with the grinder. Removal took 8 hrs. Installation took 1 hour. Good kit. Riding well , no complaints on the ride quality. Been about 4,000 miles so I can't speak on it's longevity yet. Good luck , happy wrenching!
