We believe you will find these provide a nice balance of cost and aesthetics when compared to the justifiably more expensive and artistically intricate macramé plant hangers being made by people. The design was made to provide balance between hand assembly and natural materials. Being called "The Golden Fiber" due to its natural luster, Jute is a well known cord that is incredibly strong in spite of its low cost. Its nickname is attributed to the fiber's gold-like color when exposed to direct sunlight for long durations. Good Stuff to Know: - Remember that no matter how strong the rope is, it is the HOOK that holds the hanger, so plan accordingly. - A good quality hook will allow for a 5/8" thick ring to be hung from it and with a weight rating greater than its intended use. - Our hangers is assembled by hand and material we use such as jute and wood beads may vary in color and texture from one another or even pictures. - Hangers are measured from the top of the loop to the top of the knot (not the tassel). - Jute will weaken over long term exposure in rain or in high humidity, so we use multiple strands with all of our hangers for added protection. - NOTE: Bead color may vary depending upon supplier availability (Black or Brown) - we will always ship orders with same color beads. *2-DAY SHIPPING: We use USPS PRIORITY SHIPPING with all of our orders, 2 DAY SHIPPING applies only to the service being used and is subject to any/all restrictions and service time provided by USPS.
