Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation 15g, NW35, 0.52 Fl Oz

I love this powder foundation and will wear it until I die (or MAC stops making it). I hate the way liquid foundation feels on my face and, despite my best efforts, it always looks patchy and weird, so powder foundation it is. I prime really well and then apply this powder foundation with a Kubuki brush. It's doesn't take much to give me a nice, smooth face that doesn't look patchy. In fact, it doesn't look like I am wearing foundation at all. This does not offer heavy coverage, so if that's important you will want to check out something else. I appreciate that MAC offers this foundation in a lot of shades. I am pretty fair with neutral undertones and NW15 is perfect for me.

Was much smaller than I expected.

Mac powder was recommended to me by several professional makeup artist who do makeup for TV personalities. I tried it and have never looked back. I use it as a base and do not need foundation: it blends and smooths the skin color, covering all the irregularities of shade and gradation of skin tone typical of non-youth. Great product.

This product was lead not the foundation I needed. The color was correct.

I've been using this foundation for a little over a year and I'm really pleased with it. You can build coverage from light to full face mask (for those days you just want to hide), and it stays on longer more like a liquid than a powder. If I use a base (I use Urban Decay Face Primer) and set it with a powder, it easily lasts all day or all night. Even without a primer, it goes on smooth and even, and the fact that the compact also holds the sponge makes it easy and convenient to take on-the-go for touch ups. It will tend to rub off on clothes or whatever you rub your face against right after applied, but that problem seems to go away after an hour or two. Rubbing your hands over your face right after application seems to help get off the excess and allow the makeup to sink into your skin which helps fix this problem. Overall I am very pleased and will continue using this foundation for the foreseeable future.
