Beautiful Collection Advanced Gray Solutions

Okay so I’m going to say that if you’re trying to grow out your gray but don’t want the permanent dye while trying to do it, this will help you as you go through the painful process. On me, it does cover most of my gray but I tend to have some stubborn ones. I workout so I wash my hair a lot. I get a month of washes before it fades.

Really didn't know what to expect when using it for the first time. I work in schools and let my hair go natural i.e. let the roots show, over the summer break and used it first after the summer break last year. The coverage is really good. I start out by using a pre shampoo conditioner, rinse, then I shampoo, rinse, then apply the dye, then 20 minutes in the sauna, rinse and then I apply a leave in conditioner and style as usual. I have on of those cheap, infrared 'personal saunas' which is good not only for use when dying my hair, but great for your skin as well. Really happy with the results. I've noticed that when I am extremely active, i.e. sweating a lot from excessive gardening, DIY, aerobics, then the dye tends to fade quicker with washes, but if I exercise at a moderate pace, like say Pilates or Yoga or not at all, it lasts longer. Can't complain, affordable, natural looking colour that lasts longer than any other non permanent dye I have ever used. Definitely worth a try. I hope it works well for you too.

I have been using this gray cover-up for years. It doesn’t last as long as it says, but it definitely does the job of covering up my grays for a few weeks. Regardless, if I wash my hair more or less the color last the same around 4-6 weeks. Love that it doesn’t change the texture of my 4C hair, and leaves my hair soft and undamaged. I always use the same colors, the darkest black available or darkest/brown black. Took a star off since color fades quicker than I would like. If I could find something just as good, and not harsh on my hair, but last longer I would change. Until then I’m going to continue using his brand. This is a brand that’s hard to find in stores, so for the price and quick shipping will continue using and purchasing through Amazon.

Work's well to cover grey

Used an entire bottle of this product (& left it on for 30 minutes). It did not do one single thing: when I washed it out of my hair, it was just as gray as before. And I have very short hair. This was a complete waste of money. Also, the bottle looks entirely different from the one that’s shown when purchasing.

It did not cover all my gray. When I washed my hair, some of the gray was still there. But overall the product is ok.

I had high hopes for this dye but unfortunately it didn’t work well on my greys. I used this brands normal black dye but it didn’t last but a few days and changed my greys to a weird orange-ish colour. I was hoping as this caters to greys that it would be the one. Initially, it looked good, but again, didn’t last very long - longer than the regular black though. I need to look elsewhere. I guess if you have stubborn greys like me, something to consider.

I'm very allergic/sensitive to harsh chemicals and thought I'd try this as it doesn't contain ammonia or peroxide. The patch test went well, so I went ahead, and am very pleased with the result. It was very easy to use, the dye is thick and doesn't drip at all. The little bit that got on my skin was easily washed off. Despite the thickness of the dye, it was easy to rinse off after the required 25 minutes. The dye takes a while to fade (it's been 5 shampoos since and hardly any fading). However, as my hair grows fast, the white roots appear after 2 weeks. I reapply the dye to just the roots, not a problem. Overall, I'm very happy to have found this product and I hope it never goes out of production.

Got midnight black, wasn't sure the rinse was going to cover my greys but it did. It left my hair soft. I'm very satisfied. Will repurchase.

Please read the instructions, this semi permanent dye is meant to be applied to wet hair. You shampoo first, towel dry and then apply this product. I opted to cover my entire head and then covered it in tin foil. Let the product sit on my head for about 20-25 minutes. It does take a long time for the water to run clear when you rinse it off, do not shampoo again! I then applied a deep conditioner since my hair felt quite dry from this. It will not cover 100% of your white hairs, but it will make them less prominent and less silver looking so that they don't stand out as much. My only complaint is that it took about ten minutes of me rinsing my hair for the water to finally turn clear.
