Super nice and easy to put together! Love the value for the price. I have 3 kids who completely trashed the standard chairs that came with our table and these will be substantially easier to clean! Tip for putting together: hand screw the screws onto the sides of the chair first then the ones into the back. Tighten them all with the included Allen wrench.

Love the red paint, looks like it will last. The barn red fits into country theme. The chairs are easy to put together. They are a bit smaller than I thought but still fit adults comfortably.

These chairs are amazing! My cats tore up the old leather seated chairs I had but my dining room table still looked fine and I have a bench seat still. I wanted something to kinda match the bench and table so I ordered these. Easy to assemble very sturdy and easy to clean!

These FDW Metal Dining Chairs are sturdy and look great once assembled. The assembly was frustrating. I had some difficulty getting the bolts to line up properly without them trying to cross-thread, and one chair even arrived with a bent corner on the backrest flange. I was able to straighten it with pliers (utilized some of the packing to prevent scratching); it definitely shouldn’t have come that way. During assembly, I also noticed a few dents, dings, and a slight bend in the apron of one seat. After putting all four chairs together, two of them were wobbly, though I managed to fix that with some extra effort. Despite the cosmetic flaws, the chairs are aesthetically pleasing and feel sturdy overall. Just keep in mind they may not be the most comfortable option for larger individuals, as the seats are on the smaller side.

These chairs have held up great after 6 years of having them. Bolts need to tightened after a few years but great quality. Bought two sets so 8 chairs and stack great

No real instructions came with these chairs, except to screw the side pieces of the back to the seat and then screw the back to the seat. This does not work, especially if the screw holes don't match up and if the side pieces of the back are too close together to fit over the seat. If the side struts are too close together, tilt the back on its side and gently place your bare or stockinged foot to one strut. Then gently pull the other strut with your hands until the distance between the two struts is wide enough to fit over the seat of the chair. Then screw in one side strut to the side of the chair. After doing that, screw in the two lower back screws. This way you can get all three sets of screw holes to line up and be screwed together. Finally, screw in the other side screw. You may have to pinch that final side strut on the back of the chair so that it goes together with the hole in the side of the chair. If you try to screw the two sides on first it's likely that the back screw holes will not match up. The chairs look great once they're assembled. The one star rating is for the difficulty of assembly. I was told by an Amazon rep that the assembly problems I've described have been reported by other people who have tried to assemble the chairs and that it's a manufacturing problem. I didn't feel like packaging up the chairs and paying to send them back to the seller, so I came up with a way to do the assembly.

I bought these for my cottage for the outdoor dining area. I have no idea how well they will hold up in the rain and whatnot but they are beautiful and sturdy and super quick to assemble. I bought the white ones, and they have a slight antiquing to them which makes them vintage looking. LOVE them.

Horrible. They are broken. They are painted on the top of the damaged part . They have not come to collect it yet . So disappointing. Is almost 2 weeks and they have not come to collect it yet

Not only are these classic Tolix Marais style chairs attractive (I LOVE the matte black finish) and comfortable, but I got all four for just $99.99 taxes & shipping included. You can’t even find chairs that inexpensive at IKEA for pete's sake! These are well made; constructed from solid steel that feels sturdy and strong, yet is surprisingly light too making them easy to lift for stacking . They were delivered SO quickly! I ordered them on Sep. 22 and they were delivered to my door midday on Sep. 24. They came carefully packaged, arriving in pristine condition, and were very easy to assemble. It took just four screws to attach each back to the seat (the screws & Allen keys are all included). In no more than 30 minutes the chairs went from a few parts in a box, to fully assembled and tucked up to my dining table. I love them! They are exactly what I wanted in terms of style and quality, and the super afforable price was a definite bonus! I could not be more pleased with my purchase and I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend/order from this company again.

I bought two sets. Had them built in 15 mins max. They are comfy and super sturdy. Some family is plus 300 lbs and they are comfy on them too.
